Ashley was waiting on our doorstep when we got home and couldn’t wait to meet Anna Kate.  She is a precious neighbor and has been over lots this week giving me extra hands.  I just love her to pieces!

This is so Noelle.  She was ready to serve the family supper and was asking me what I wanted to eat.

Our goofy girl has been busy being silly and capturing the spotlight in the most creative ways.  She’s crazy about Anna Kate and is adjusting so well!

Okay, so this is proof we are sleep deprived and ready for our own bed!  Sorry babe, just had to share the side of you that makes me laugh everyday!

I am still in awe that we have these pictures.  I took them in the hospital room early Wednesday morning.  The moment just happened, and I’ll treasure these forever!

My dear friend, Meredith, was our first visitor on Tuesday morning to meet Anna Kate.

Mike’s coworkers, David & Alecia came on their lunch break to say hello!

  

Noelle desperately wanted to share her baby rattle with Anna Kate, so she brought it to her in the hospital.  The nurses gave her a "Big Sister" badge, and she was in heaven!

 

I want to cry I’m so proud of Noelle when I see these pictures!  This was right after Noelle burst into the room saying, "Are you having a good day at the hospital, Mommy?"

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  

The Kelly’s came to visit us next.  Emme sat with me on the bed the whole time taking everything in.  She’s such a good girl!  Thanks for coming guys!

Jon and Heather came to meet Anna Kate next – aren’t they going to be the cutest little parents!!!  We can’t wait to meet Landon (Baby boy Fearing) in August!

Noelle was showing everyone how the breast pump worked.  Pretty entertaining.

 

Grand Papa got to meet Anna Kate Tuesday evening.  I just love these pictures!  Noelle went to spend the night with the Pond grandparents Tuesday night and had the time of her life.  As she was leaving the hospital with them, she turned around and said, "Mommy and Daddy, you stay here with Anna Kate.  I’m going to the slumber party now! Okay?  Bye!" 

 

I loved Anna Kate’s little door decor and wanted you guys to see it.  She sure was a princess today and got lots of special attention.  Love you all so much, and thanks for sharing in this special special time with us!

 

The first picture is Noelle waving to Anna Kate when they first wheeled her bassinet into the room.  The second was when Noelle first laid eyes on Anna Kate, and the third is Noelle loving on her Mommy.

 

 

 

 

This was the first time Mike held both of his girls.  We were just looking at these pictures together and he told me this was one of the happiest moments of his life!

If I could use one word to describe Noelle this week, it is overjoyed.  She is the happiest I’ve ever seen her and loves her baby sister with all of her heart.  She is constantly saying, "I love you Anna Kate.  You are my best friend.  You are just SO cute!"  She can’t stop hugging and kissing and talking to her.  Oh and she loves to talk about how we are a family.

Last night, we tucked Noelle in her room.  About 30 minutes later, Anna Kate started crying down the hall in our room.  Noelle started yelling from her bed, "Anna Kate needs one more hug and kiss!  Mommy?  Daddy?  Anna Kate needs one more hug and kiss!" 

Noelle, we are so proud of you!  You are the best big sister in the "whole best world!"

Anna Katherine Pond was born today, March 16, at 2:06pm. She is 7 lbs, 14 oz. and 20 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great! More photos coming soon!
