Bed Bugs!
March 30th, 2009
Have you ever awakened to find a ladybug in your bed? Noelle had gotten out of her big girl bed this morning and gone straight to her trunk to play dress-up. When she got in bed with Anna Kate and me, I had no idea she was dressed like this because it was so dark. When I woke up, this is what I saw. I couldn’t help but grab my camera!
Noelle patting Anna Kate’s head and saying (literally), "You are precious, Anna Kate!"
I love my sleepy bugs!!!
Special Friends and Post Dance Pics!
March 28th, 2009
Molly Fearing, Marshall & Carol came over to meet Anna Kate on Sunday. I love Anna Kate’s sleeping smile in Molly’s arms. Isn’t that great!
Noelle and Anna Kate hanging out on Monday.
Noelle loves to hold Anna Kate several times a day. I overheard her yesterday saying, "You are darling, Anna Kate! I’m so happy you are here with us, baby sister." Seriously, could Noelle be any sweeter — she makes my heart melt every second of every day!

Cute girls!
Stacy prepared delicious grilled chicken over rice with fancy green beans and Italian bread for our supper. Thank you, Stacy!!!
We are overwhelmed by the help and support we’ve gotten from so many of you. Thank you just doesn’t quite cut it – how about we couldn’t do it without you!!!
Noelle’s Quote of the Day!

"I love Anna Kate so much. Actually, she’s my best friend."
Meet Our Builder and Friends, Pat & Ed French!
March 26th, 2009
Pat & Ed French (also known as Poppy & Nana to Noelle) with Anna Kate. Ed is famous to us as we have admired his houses for years! Ed builds the most beautiful houses I have ever seen, and I hope and pray one day ours will be one of them!
Just wanted to take a moment to get everyone updated on our house plans. We have been in the planning phases of building a house for the past couple of months. We found a lot and had a contract on it. Ed and myself designed the most amazing floor plan in the world, the architect drew up several drafts and revisions, we paid our earnest money, signed the contracts, and were ready to build. Ed went to close on the lot we had in contract, but somewhere along the way, the title company dropped the ball. The close date had come and gone (within days), and the lot was already in contract with someone else before we realized what had hit us.
This has been such a blow to all of us, going from building a house to back to square one (tree house forever) all within the week of Anna Kate’s birth. I’ve been pretty emotional, but that just comes with the territory. Anyway, we are being still and waiting to see what doors open and how God will bless our little family. Until then, we are loving each other and enjoying the first precious moments with our sweet daughter.
Every time I get nervous about our current living situation, I fervently pray this over my heart: "Do not be anxious about anything, but through prayer and petition make your request known to God. And the PEACE that passes all understanding will GUARD your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus our Lord." So be it!
