Happy 3rd Birthday, Will!
August 20th, 2008
Will had a beach ball/swim party turned balloon party indoors because it was pouring rain in Keller last night. We had SO much fun, and the kids loved all the impromptu games and activities.
We gave Will a Chalktopus. After he opened it, he brought the present over to Noelle to say thank you. It was so cute and sweet! The right picture is of Noelle and Mary enjoying the balloon rocket game. The kids loved seeing the balloons squeal all over the room!
Bailey and Noelle playing in the game room.
Mary put together the neatest goodie bags for the kids! One of Noelle’s favorite things was the foam pill that grew into a penguin when we put it in the water. She was amazed and treated it like it was alive. She wouldn’t touch it with her fingers, so we got out a little flag. Mike and I were calling it the "Penguin Poke." She loves that little penguin!
Rangers Game
August 17th, 2008
We had a blast at the Rangers game this weekend (thanks Texas Power), and we invited Shawn and Ashley to go with us.

Checking out the field before the game.
The Rangers Ballpark in Arlington is so beautiful!
Tonight was Alumni Appreciation night. This pic is for Michele. The far left player on the front row is Rusty Greer, and two down from him with his arms crossed is Nolan Ryan. This was the view from our seats!
Afterward they had amazing fireworks above all the flags and circling the entire stadium. Noelle kept yelling, "I love you, fireworks! You’re pretty fireworks!"
Singing Zoologist
August 12th, 2008
Poppa and Rara came in this weekend to hang out with us. Saturday we went to the Summer Reading Club Jubilee (end of summer reading party). The entertainment was a singing zoologist. He was crazy, and the kids loved him.
Here’s Noelle with her favorite librarian, Mrs. Jacobs. When Mrs. Jacobs went on stage for her 50’s number, Noelle yelled, "YAY, Mrs. Jacobs." Everyone started laughing around us, and she told us afterward that she heard Noelle while she was on stage. It was really sweet!
Neverending Story
August 11th, 2008
Setting up camp for movie night at the park!
This is the amphitheater at the park down the street from our house. I think it’s so cool they do movie night for families. We can’t wait for the fall movies!
Noelle & Mike flying our fish kite before the main event.
Sweet friends!
The girls had fun sitting on the stage before the movie. Noelle has been putting her hand on her hip when I take pictures these days. It’s too funny. I showed her how to do that last time we took pictures in this outfit, and I think it just stuck!
Lindsay and Melissa with the kiddos ready for popcorn and the movie!
