Graduation and Party Days!
July 6th, 2016
The big girls grew so much this year!
End of year parties for the big girls were a blast!
Sweet teachers with our girlies!
Anna Kate’s party had a luau theme.
Graduation day was the sweetest! Noelle has so many friends and loves them all so much!
We’re going to miss Ms. Montgomery so much!
Mike and I could not be more proud of our first baby! Mrs. Clark has been an awesome encouragement to Noelle during elementary school. She always had smiles and a huge heart to share with Noelle, and we are so grateful!
Ava and Georgia are such awesome besties!
Anna Kate had a great year with Mrs. Waddell! She has been so blessed with really great teachers! And we couldn’t have made it without the love and support from Mrs. Eubanks. She’s been a huge encouragement to our entire family!
The girls both worked so hard and got more awards than I can list! We are excited to keep learning and growing with our kids! Con”GRAD”ulations from elementary school, Noelle! You’ve worked so very hard and truly put your heart and soul into your work! We couldn’t be more proud!
Fun Times in May!
June 29th, 2016
We had tons of fun in May, and these are not even my phone pics! It was a busy, wild and crazy month, and we loved every minute of it! Anna Kate had a blast at Avery’s mermaid birthday party! Happy 7th birthday, Avery! Noelle had the best end of year party with her friends. More pictures of that fun day below!
Let’s all go to Six Flags and be super heroes!
Rose took ice skating lessons in May. She absolutely LOVED it, but it got too hard for me to put on her skates being 8 1/2 months pregnant, so we had to take a break from lessons to have our baby!
When Noelle gets bored, she dresses up and acts out different characters. Today, she was a boy. Just a boy. And she was super funny!
Happy Pre-School Graduation, Rose Avery! You were a trooper this year, and we are so proud of our happy girl!
Laken, Harper, and Lucy were awesome pre-k buddies for Rose!
When you get to 4th grade at Noelle’s elementary school, it’s like graduating high school there’s so much celebrating. They get to do so many awesome things to celebrate elementary school graduation. Today, was their 4th grade event. They got to go to the trampoline park in the morning and swimming at a fitness center in the afternoon. It’s their big end of year bash, and they’ve looked forward to it after 5 years of attending elementary school!
Gabby, Carson, Brianna, Ava and Georgia have been such great friends to Noelle and have truly brightened her days at school! So thankful for Noelle’s awesome friends!
Next up, swimming!
It was really cold in the water, so after the swim test, most of the girls laid out. They thought that was really cool! ![]()
Georgia! Creative, cute, fun and always such a sweetie! Noelle’s life is happier because Georgia’s in it!
Fun friends!
What can you say about the sweetest teacher on earth? Noelle struck gold her last year in elementary school getting Ms. Montgomery for her teacher. She believed in her, cheered her on, complimented her strengths, watched over her and taught her more than I would’ve thought possible. I will always be grateful to her for such an awesome last year she in elementary school she helped Noelle have!
Ladybugs soccer spring 2016 was a great season of learning and growing! Lucy was out with a broken elbow and several girls were out of town for a few games, so the hustle was real, but the girls rose to the occasion, and played so hard, along with Coach Trent.
Rose is a great defender and stays with the game. She tries her best and is super competitive. When the other team scores, her walk of shame back to the middle of the filed is pretty hilarious. She takes their goals personally, which is the mark of a true defender. I really hope she’ll keep playing! She has potential, she just has to work hard and keep learning how the game works. She makes us so happy, and it is a joy to watch her play!
She’s just a tiny bit entertaining (and she knows it)! ![]()
Go Rose!
We are so proud of our ladybug, Rose!
I love joking around with Rose. We crack each other up! She is so silly, but equally cuddly and affectionate. My little baby girl!
Cutie Kate! She brings us so much joy and happiness, and I will be in her corner forever!
This night was a super fun, awesome opportunity for the girls! They were given tickets to see Joshua Evans in Dallas and even got to meet him after his show! One of the things he always says on his YouTube channel is “Be Nice To People” so we made these shirts for the girls. We all had a blast!
Ava, Noelle, Emily and Joshua!
Amy, Melissa (+Jessen), Joshua and Rachel!
When Rara comes to town, it’s always a party!
Mrs. Bonine is the best music teacher out there! She does so much for her students, and their performances are always so awesome! She helped Noelle find her confidence and her voice, and I will always be grateful to her for that!
Noelle, Claire, Georgia, Gabby, Carson and Emerson
The 4th grade musical was entitled “School of Rock, Time to Roll!” They were fantastic, and the recorders sounded amazing too!
Kay Kay, Grandpapa and Ava with Noelley after the show! Such a sentimental night seeing Noelle’s grade perform together for the last time after 5 years of performing musicals together. We are thankful for all the awesome experiences Noelle had in elementary school!
Field Day 2016!
June 23rd, 2016
I’m still a month behind on the blog, but I’m not giving up yet—The girls enjoy it too much! So, here are my favorite pictures from Field Day this year. Usually Field Day is earlier in the spring, but they had to reschedule because of rain, so it was held in the middle of May. Although I was waddling all over the place super pregnant, we all had such a great day! I love watching my girls compete and have fun!
My favorite competitions to watch each year are the relay race and tug-o-war. Noelle gets so into it and is super competitive. I would think she would care less because she’s not really into sports, but she so does. That girl has to win—I love it!
Go girl, go!!!
Check out these tug-o-war faces. I told you she is competitive!
This was the first year Noelle was in a class that won first place in tug-o-war, which was such a fun ending to her elementary school field days.
Sweet Ms. Montgomery and her class! We had the best year with her, and she was the perfect teacher for Noelle!
Noelle and Anna Kate’s classes had some events side by side, so they got to hang out a little bit. It was awesome! They take such good care of each other at school. I know they are going to miss going to the same school next year!
Anna Kate and her classroom buddies! She had such a great group of girls to play with in her class this year!
Only the older grades get to do the hamster ball, so Anna Kate was cheering Noelle on. I know she’s looking forward to being the big kid on campus. She’s almost half-way there!
Anna Kate isn’t quite as competitive as Noelle. She enjoys participating but is still her easy going self during the events.
She’s giving it her best shot! How do I know? Because she’s got that tongue out!
Another old school favorite event is the sack race! Anna Kate was rockin’ it!
We had a blast at Field Day 2016!
Texas Bluebonnets
June 8th, 2016
Sooooo….. we kind of missed bluebonnet season this year! Just a lot going on, lol! Here we are with the very tail end of them, but no regrets here! This will probably be the girls’ favorite bluebonnet memory from their childhood!
Cheers to our southern gentleman! Can’t wait to see you in the bluebonnets next year, Jessen!
Love our Emma-P! Best friend to all!
So, yeah… this is where the best memory part comes in. We had to hunt down some bluebonnets to even get a picture with them at all, and the only ones we could find were on a busy road… so, we had to climb this dirt pile from the other side to get to them. Yes, I was 8 months pregnant. It’s one of the only credits I give to having spent my childhood dancing… extraordinary balance.
I didn’t realize what a memory it was until a couple weeks later, when Rose asked when we could go “rock climbing” again. I told her she had never been rock climbing before, and she was adamant that she had. She finally blurted out in frustration, “Mom, we went with Emily to get to the bluebonnets! We climbed the big big rocks to get there.” Ohhhhhhhh…
The day we took the pictures, Emily and Noelle just thought it was funny and kept making fun of me, like, “Wow, can’t believe you’ll go to this extreme for a picture!” but were having fun with it. Anna Kate was just exploring—always exploring. Gosh, I love my kids!
Mike was not the happiest of campers when he saw the pictures, but he trusts me with all of his heart and was not surprised one bit! He wouldn’t have let us do it if he had been there… love that man!
So, I award the bluebonnet pictures of 2016, the most fun bluebonnet pictures we will ever have… and aren’t those the best kind to have?
Jessen’s Baby Shower
May 30th, 2016
Thank you Trish, Amy and Rachel for hosting the most beautiful baby shower ever! The “Southern Gentleman” theme was so cute and such a fun surprise! It was so sweet you wouldn’t take no for an answer, and I’m so glad you didn’t. It was an awesome afternoon filled with so much love!
It feels so good to be home and sharing our lives with such amazing family and friends!
