September YOLO

First games throughout the years…
Noelle’s first journal entry in 4th grade this year! I LOVED reading it during parent orientation—She’s such a cute writer!
These girls have attitude!
This collage makes me laugh! Rose is awesome!
Sweet Anna Kate is always such a great helper!
Story time with Mrs. Peggy!
Loved hearing Christina Perri when she opened for Ed Sheeran this month. She’s so spunky and cute with lots of awesome themes in her music! When Rara comes to town, my friends get the coolest wrapped presents from me!
From Mike’s Snapchat. He makes me laugh every day, and I’m so thankful for that!
Rose and Logan up to no good!
Emme has the perfect hair texture for this hairstyle. It’s called the messy bun hawk and I love the way it turned out! I will definitely be doing this style more often.
Rose and her friend Harper after school one day. Harper’s mommy has helped me a ton this fall, and I am so grateful!
My big and little waiting for Anna Kate to finish dance one day and Rose’s infamous “F” word project. We do one every single week, but for some reason they started with the letter F. Now that we have a rhythm to the homework, it’s all good, but at the beginning it was a little overwhelming adding pre-school homework to our weeknight queue.
My mom is a master gardener. I love how her shrubs over to the side are inspired from her trips visiting Michele in Japan.
On a Wednesday, in a café, we watched it begin again…
She inspires me every day to not take things so seriously and have a ton of fun!
Soccer buddies!
Pics from Patriot Day.
Rose’s birthday card for her teacher looked something like this:
Our friend Brendan being the X in Texas!
Dance days are long, but the girls have learned a lot this fall and had a ton of fun along the way!
Tiana, I mean Jaalisa’s leftovers are the best! Vivienne isn’t messing around when she invites the Pond girls over to hang out!
Our Ladybugs are the cutest!
Harper and Rose blowing bubbles in the park. I’m going to miss these this winter when it gets super cold.
Two of my BAEs dressed up looking sharp, working and playing hard!
Cutie Kate looking fashion-y after school one day!
Every day after preschool, Rose always has whatever color stamp they gave her under her nose because she can’t help but smell it. Every.single.school.day. I never want to forget these silly days!
Anna Kate and Malia doing their thing! Love these pretty girls.
Why do I always find these pictures on my phone!?! Rose!!!
Anna Kate taking care of me when I had the flu. I use the “Eat up Mommy” sign for my bookmark now. Anna Kate and Sydney having a sunny game day. The Tigers last 3 games were rained out, and we were super bummed, but competition is coming up and these girls are ready to bring it!
Noelle has been working hard on acting/modeling this fall and is such a great kid. We are so proud of her!
College day at school!
Loved being a part of getting Joella’s ears pierced! She did great!
Anna Kate is ready to get her ears pierced after today! After cheer season, game on little miss!
Anna Kate and Mike, always creating new things! This was a hamburger bun made out of cream cheese and eggs and completely carb free. It was really good!
Noelle and I had an awesome date day before I got diagnosed with the flu (in September) that evening. This tea and sugar never tasted so good! I’ll never forget this sweet day hanging out with our sweetheart.
Love her forever! Her warm cinnamon apples are delicious btw.
I love my best friends! Lisa, Jaalisa and Trish really helped me through a tough time, and I am so grateful for each one of them!
Here are a few videos from Instagram and Snapchat that I wanted to remember from September! I think it is possible one of these days I’ll catch up on the blog, but if I don’t, I’ll never be too far behind. ![]()
State Fair Initiated
November 5th, 2015
Noelle entered this photograph that she took at the State Fair this year for her Reflections Project. The theme was: Let your Imagination Fly. I think it’s perfect! She’s already sold a couple copies for her piggy! It printed beautifully.
Headed to the fair, not knowing what we were getting into, lol!
This was pretty much it. Boy, we sure do love Texas, but I’d have to say the fair is not our thing! This was our first time to go with kiddos, and they were definitely overwhelmed. I think a slow weekday is the way to go!
It was fun listening to Big Tex give his little speech. The girls thought he was creepy in a funny way—They were entertained!
Clarissa and Greg tried out the fair with us… brave souls!
All the booths were so colorful and fun to explore!
TBH, don’t do this ride. Too many cars and not enough space. The girls were pretty much stuck in the corner the entire time. $12 for a bunch of nothin’ lol! Yeah, definitely pass on this one! The good news is they had fun and didn’t know the difference!
As we were leaving, they were passing out free sparkling water, which left us on a good note with the state fair experience. When the girls take pictures with their friends, we always say, do a smile picture and then a sassy picture (we used to say silly picture, but they only stick out their tongues in those, so we changed it to sassy). When we said, “Sassy pose!” Greg was on it! and the girls loved it! I’d say it was Greg watching out for Rose at Hacienda and his sassy pose that won us over… along with just being awesome! Thanks for coming to Texas guys—We had a blast, and we love you tons!
