Pond Girls at the Pumpkin Patch
November 28th, 2015

We had a blast at the pumpkin patch this fall!

Rose keeps us laughing!

Daddy’s girls! xo

I love how Anna Kate is always creating and playing store where ever she goes, and Noelle is so sweet to always be her #1 customer!

Noelle and Jax after school!
Halloween after-party selfies!
We loved these Star Wars pumpkins! So good!
Joella looked adorable in the pumpkins!
It was an added bonus getting to stay with Harper and Saylor when we went on our trip to meet the Seven Super Girls. I braided Saylor’s curly hair just like Annie wore hers in the opening act of the original movie. It melted me!!!
Rose had a pumpkin day at her school this year. I loved spending the day with her and her sweet friends!
Sutton, Rose and Harper having a blast posing in front of their painted pumpkins!
Watching Ed Sheeran’s moive, Jumpers for Goalposts, was eventful and fun. It was really cool watching it opening night and seeing lots of live footage from the premiere in London.
This is how we do movie night!
Grumpiest pumpkin in the patch!
Here was Rose all dressed up and ready to run errands with her dad. Bless both of their hearts! Anna Kate pretended to have a broken foot and used a neck rest and yard stick for her crutches. She’s always coming up with little inventions!
Baby Preston and Uncle Jon!
Love this crew so much! Preston’s dad, Beau, was on a business trip the day of Ty and Carey’s baby shower, but we had a blast celebrating baby Kensie, who was born last week, 11/17, on Jon and Heather’s wedding anniversary!
I never thought I’d finish our glow-in-the-dark costumes for the Taylor Swift concert. I even sewed in battery packs in the girls’ skirts. I love crafting and listening to books on Audible! I’ve listened to over 30 books this year and am enjoying them so much!
Rose chillin’ with her cat ears watching the big girls at their dance classes, and Anna Kate with her class buddies one day when I went to volunteer. They are so great!
Go Tigers! Another game, another day of fun.
Anna Kate with her cheer buddies, and Noelle right before her first day of modeling/acting classes.
The littles looked like this on Saturdays this fall.
More fun from Clarissa and Greg’s Texas trip!
Having a tea room lunch with my mom when I had pneumonia. Hot tea tastes so good when you are sick!
Little energy projects for the big girls and who knows what on the right drawn by Rose.
This is our favorite meal that Mike cooks. It’s soooo delicious! The girls always try on weird masks at the store in October. It’s a creepy tradition!
Rose always does so good at the dentist. Here are Mike and Rose enjoying an outdoor concert before it got too chilly.
Had fun with Poppa at cheer competition!
The little sister crew, Cerly, Rose and Audree watching their big sissies cheer!
Here’s a cute little pumpkin patch collage I posted on Instagram. Are you on Instagram? Come find us @melissapond. It’s fun and way more instant than our blog, lol!
Ed Sheeran’s Multiply Tour
November 20th, 2015
Well, we just had to go back for one more, and it was so worth it! Ed is such an amazing musician!
Arrived at 3:00 and waited in line to run down to the pit when the stadium doors opened… like a “proper fan” as Ed would say! It was fun to do that this once!
Ed and Mo… I’m normally this dorky, just not so publicly.
I was having fun.
Our posters made the cut for the second time this year on Ed’s Instagram. Just feeling a part of it all in a tiny way is so much fun!
Tonight required a selfie! ![]()
Ed puts on an awesome show! I know I’ve explained this already, but each 3 minute song on his album takes 6-8 minutes to play live because he builds each part of every song with his loop petal all by himself. He plays a part, then clicks it to repeat itself throughout the song, then plays another part, and another. By the time a song is over, it sounds like 30 musicians are on stage playing all different instruments, but it’s just him up there doing his thing, which makes it so cool! It really is incredible to watch, and I’m not even that musical, I am just in awe of the sheer talent and the way his music makes me feel.
This is what a venue looks like at the end of a concert. So crazy but definitely understandable. When you are smashed together like sardines, no one is getting out to throw anything away. Or if you do, you’re not getting back in!
Last ones standing! We had such a blast tonight! Standing in the masses to watch a concert that close to the stage is pretty physical. We were among the oldest down there, and people were passing out from the heat all around us (Ed was even throwing water from the stage). I really appreciated the moment because we won’t be able to watch concerts from that view forever. It was a really amazing experience and so worth it! I already can’t wait for his next album!
Halloween 2015
November 17th, 2015
We had such a fun Halloween this year!
The girls picked out their own costumes this year, and I think they match their personalities perfectly!
We had a surprise guest in our neighborhood this year! Santa Claus came to greet all of the children and check in on them! Thankfully, all of the Pond girls are on the nice list! (for now) ![]()
Our fun-loving girls! Couldn’t love them more!
Noelle and I worked pretty hard on her face painting. We learned lots of new tricks and had fun figuring it out. The best trick we learned is to use eyelash glue to keep the jewels in place. They stayed on all night!
Rosey Posey
We were here! I don’t like being in front of the camera. I guess I’m camera shy, but I want the girls to know their Mommy and Daddy are always at everything, cheering them on every step of the way, and Santa too!
Rose and Katie hope you had a spooky Halloween!
Berkley, Rose, Katie and Jameson, all 4 year old neighbors ready to trick-or-treat!
Katie with Rose, who is already getting started on her sugar rush, and Anna Kate and Malia excited to be together!
Group photo!
Time to trick-or-treat!
Costumes we loved!
More sweet friends!
Noelle, Emerson and Georgia
This is our favorite house each year! We wouldn’t miss it as it has become tradition!
Go girls!
Chloe, Brianna and Vivienne
Avery’s glow in the dark stick figure costume was awesome!
Happy Halloween from our family to yours!
Halloween Costume Party
November 15th, 2015
Rose had her girl friends over for a little costume party the week of Halloween. It was so fun because it was sunny, and they were so excited to show their friends their costumes and play!
I like to jam-pack preschool play dates with activities because bored 4 year olds in a big group scare me, lol! No, I’d say that’s more accurate for 2-3 year olds, but we had lots of fun games to play!
First up were frog races (green strip was the finish line in back) and spooky Bingo!
Loved our cute/creepy spider pumpkin this year!
Rose had to have “party favors” even though this wasn’t a birthday party, lol! We just put in one piece of candy and some stamp sets. I didn’t want the girls leaving on too much of a sugar high!
They are so adorable! Nothing cuter than little girls feeling fancy in dress-ups!
Rose and Audree were working hard decorating their cupcakes!
Rose’s school and soccer buddies Harper and Lucy getting their cupcakes just right!
Cerly and Shelby proud of their creations!
Rose and Katie looking more alike than ever with their longer hair this year! Last year, they both cut their hair with scissors, but it’s grown back at exactly the same pace this year. They are so funny, sweet, cute, all of it!
Rose has such awesome little friends, and we had a blast having everyone over to play!
