The girls had so much fun finding their Easter baskets full of surprises on the front porch!

 

The Easter bunny and Cash were working behind the scenes to fill up the girls’ baskets with fun prizes! 

Saylor knew the big girls weren’t allowed outside yet, but honestly, this baby smiles 24/7!  You will never meet a happier baby!

The bunny puts a few of the same things in their baskets every year (Easter themed)!  No one has remembered yet!  Ha!

Well this back-to-back thing is awfully cute guys!

Dud harmonicas!  The Easter bunny found a great deal on Frozen & Barbie harmonicas, but they were no good!  The kids would blow and blow and just a tiny little peep of a sound would come out.  I bet he’s going to be on the lookout all.year.long for a redo for next year!  (LOL)  What a fun memory!

Nancy and I worked together on the baskets this year (along with the bunny, of course), and she landed a huge hit with the sunflower crowns! 

The harmonicas were everywhere!

Noelle always takes time out to adore/enjoy her sisters and when I asked them to do something silly, I had no idea Rose would eat her dress… that’s a new one, even for Rose!

Love all of our Easter traditions in East Texas!

Poppa & Rara had a very special surprise for the kiddos Rara has wanted to do for forever… she turned the under stairs storage closet into a play room for the grandkids (she had most of it done before she broke her arms)!  One wall is full of arts and crafts, one entire wall is a chalk board, and there is even a reading nook under the stairs. 

My favorite part of having the closet was closing the door and listening to them interact without them knowing we were listening.  They are so candid and sweet; Their little imaginations are so cute!

Talking about toes in the reading nook!  Isn’t this so cool!?! 

 

We spent most of Easter weekend swinging in the back yard.  I didn’t have my camera out for that part, so I’m so thankful Brother Man captured this awesome picture of Anna Kate and Harper swinging together!

 

 

 

 

  

 

  

 

 

Anna Kate told me this turtle is called a “Pancake turtle” because it is flat like a pancake and the same color as a pancake.

Anna Kate has had the most wonderful two years at Mrs. Paula’s preschool!  She has made such sweet friends (Reese and Ella are two of them) and learned more than we could’ve imagined!  So thankful!

  

Although next year will be all about Rose (who recently arrived on the scene), Anna Kate will get to come back for the family events, like the traditional Easter egg hunt and back to school swim party!

Not a secret, the Pond girls LOVE to swing!

 

Anna Kate’s special little preschool buddy, Luke, and the famous Mrs. Paula (holding Rose) and Mrs. Julie (holding Anna Kate).  Love these ladies and don’t know what we would’ve done without them the past two years!  I will forever be grateful to them for all of the love and care they have given to our family!

 

 

These cuties picked out their dresses for Mrs. Paula’s Preschool Easter egg hunt last week; I think they did really great!  If you haven’t noticed by now, Rose is a total crack-up!  We lob (love) her!  Noelle could smile/pose all.day.long and Anna Kate is always in the moment, happy-go-lucky (like her Daddy)… sweet girls!

 

We had the best time at Anna Kate and Rose’s Easter egg hunt at school on Thursday to kick off Easter weekend! We sure know how to have fun around here, and I’m so thankful for that and cherishing every moment with my loves!

 

Noelle and Rose had the most enchanted time at Emmalee’s secret garden tea party to celebrate her birthday!  Anna Kate was busy jumping with her friends at Urban Air trampoline park!
