Wow, Cindy really got me this time!  It felt weird being on the receiving end of the surprise.  While I was at a meeting, Mike and the girls went to the airport to pick up Cindy!  We met at Trail Dust, and out pops Cindy with the girls!  I thought I was seeing things.  It was crazy cool… she needed this, and I did too!

Mike was joking with me earlier during the day on Saturday, saying we only go to Trial Dust when someone from California comes to visit.  We even looked in the blog archives at a previous dinner with Clarissa and another with the entire Cali gang at Trail Dust.  You would think I would pick up on it, but I had NO clue!

 

Man, that slide is tall!  I was definitely more scared than Anna Kate!

Cindy brought the girls perfect little presents (when she had time to shop for them is beyond me)!  Anna Kate got boxing gloves (does she know my child or what!?!) and rabbit ears, she gave Rose a way cool ball and a sunflower headband, and Noelle got silly glasses and a butterfly headband.  Thanks Cindy!!! 

Since it was a surprise, I had already committed to working a consignment sale, so Cindy helped out.  She got a glimpse into a crazy subculture that is fun and exciting (and hard work) for us moms who dress our kids on a budget!

Sunday we had a soccer kick off party!  The girls had a blast together again celebrating the start of a new season!

 

Curt skyped us while Poppa Jim looked on in confusion!  This picture is SO funny!  Mom came to help me consign the girls clothes, and she and Cindy got to hang out on Monday for a bit before Cindy’s quick trip came to an end.  We love you, Cindy!  As always, thanks for the memories!  You’re the best!
