Pond Palindrome Time!
March 3rd, 2009
A palindrome is a word, line, or number that reads the same backwards and forwards. An example of a word is Madam. An example of a number is Noelle’s birthday, 5-05.
Well, Mike thinks it would be cool if all of our kids had palindrome birthday dates. The ones for March are 3-03 (tomorrow), 3-13 (Mom’s b-day next week), and our due date, 3-23. Now the likelihood of Anna Kate being born on one of these three days is very slim, we are having fun playing with numbers!
And I do have an update: Last Thursday, we had a sonogram to check on Anna Kate. Her head is down (and will most likely stay that way), she is exactly 6 lbs. and is 18 1/2 inches long. Of course, these are estimates, but if she gains 1/2 pound a week, she will weigh exactly what Noelle weighed and will be about the same length as well. It’s so cool we have a little bit of an idea what to expect.
I’m hoping the doctor will schedule a date this week in case we have to induce. Having a day in our mind to look forward to will be so nice. We are ready to meet Anna Kate!
