MOPS play date!
October 12th, 2007
We got a little sun burned yesterday, so Noelle wore her sunhat and lots of sunscreen today – she actually kept her hat on!
Jonathan and Noelle are four days apart in age! We are so excited to meet and play with new friends!
Noelle, Jamie, Jillian, and Lexie taking a girl’s only pic!
Lindsay is our group leader, in the pic with her daughter Jillian. Her son Sam made “the biggest birthday cake ever!”
Noelle having a blast climbing on everything!
Noelle and Jonathan
Hayden, Lexie, and Noelle playing in the sand.
We had a blast playing with our new friends today!
Pumpkin Patch!
October 11th, 2007
Today we went to the pumpkin patch with Bailey and Zane – although it was so very hot, we had so much fun!
Befriending the scarecrow and hangin’ out with Bailey. She kissed the scarecrow, but I missed it!
Busy girl!
“Let’s go!”
Bailey loves his little friend Noelle!
A really fun (and funny) game of peek-a-boo – follow the game below!
Sharing Cheerios.
Noelle, Zane, and Bailey!
Playing with the big boys!
Bailey is movin’ on through!
Okay, can you guess what are little one was shouting in this picture? “CLAW!” Haha, our child is obsessed with clocks!
Falling – she looks like the moose in the back!
I promise you guys, Noelle feels so sorry for these fall scarecrows – she was patting her saying, “Awww…” like “you poor thing.” Even though these gestures are small, it’s so sweet to see her kind soul!
Heading for the lion – one of her favorite animals – roar!
We love Zane! Check out the blue snow cone lips – too cute!
Bounce baby!
Pumpkin peek-a-boo!
Let’s go play!
These were true carvings on the tree. I thought they were amazing!
There’s no better way to end a hot day than with Sonic “ICE!”
Bye Bye Bumper!
October 10th, 2007
Princess of the crib!
“I’m kind of teethy today!”
Noelle learned to twirl while she dances. Unfortunately on Monday she twirled right into the dresser. You can still see the bruise on her forehead – that would be considered an “ouchy” in our house.
Big girl panties – hum… we are casually introducing her to the potty, and I must say she’s at least interested. She tells us when she poo poos these days – ok, that’s T.M.I. Anyway, it’s about that time!
Last time to be Queen of the Jungle!
Fun times were had by all today! Our climber can stay in the crib a little longer with her personal stepping stool gone. I didn’t cry when she had her first tooth, or her first steps, but I definitely shed a tear when we had to take the bumper out because her baby bed is almost gone! Our little girl is growing up!
Texas Power Fall Festival!
October 8th, 2007
Mike’s company had an amazing fall picnic on Sunday! It’s so great to work for such a family-oriented company!
Noelle has never had more fun in her entire life – we were having a ball watching her engage in all of the activities!
Nice to meet you scarecrow, let me give you a kiss! I think she felt sorry for the scarecrow – she thought he was kind of odd!
Miss Tina introducing Noelle to her first bounce house!
More fun times!
Jon giving Noelle lots of kisses!
Maybe next year we will be able to say pumpkins – for now they are wonderful “BAWLS!!!”
Bliss…
Someone’s getting sleepy.
As always, Noelle is infatuated with Mommy’s beads.
… and were back into the fun and games.
Noelle thought the scarecrow was just pitiful. She came back over to him, patting him and saying, “Awww…”
Tina and Carl giving Noelle a little T.L.C. after refereeing a close game of flag football. Noelle’s giggling at what a great “claw” (watch, or clock) Carl has on.
It’s time for the Texas Power star pinata!
Noelle just had to take a turn like the big kids!
Noelle actually collected quite a bit of candy. However, she only got to eat the apple she bobbed below.
What a great end to a fun birthday weekend!
Noelle went to the Mansfield High School football game on Friday night with the Prince family while Mommy and Daddy had a date night in Dallas going to the DCB concert with some friends. Saturday Melissa had a wonderful banquet for the Arlington pregnancy center where she volunteers, and Noelle and Daddy went to dinner with Aunt Susan and our family. Sunday we had our wonderful picnic and a great church service. This weekend was the best!
Visiting Daddy at Work on his Birthday!
October 4th, 2007
I thought it would be fun to put compare pics from last year and this year on the blog – October 3, 2006 & October 3, 2007!
I brought Mike red velvet cake last year and carrot cake this year, but the biggest change is obviously our little girl!
We did arts and crafts while Daddy was at work to make him a surprise home-made card!
Most of you know we live two blocks from Mike’s office. You can see the office from our second story – we wave to Daddy every day! We eventually want to build a house, but our situation is so perfect for us right now! We love our Daddy being so near!
Looking at these pics I’m amazed how much Noelle has grown in one year! It’s all so amazing and so fun – we treasure each and every day with our little girl!
We took Daddy to his new favorite Mexican restaurant, Gloria’s, tonight (who recently beat out Mi Cocina for the lead). It was so amazingly delicious. And might I add, they have the best strawberry margaritas and swirls in the world!
We hope you had a wonderful birthday full of surprises, Mike! We love you and are so blessed to have you in our lives!
