Noelle and Momma-Kay at the school carnival!

We went and handed out candy with Momma-Kay at her school on Friday night.  The kids loved the little bumble bee filling their BEE sacks with candy.  Noelle gave out all the skittles and nerds first!  (the good stuff)! 

Noelle loved handing out candy, however, if anyone reached in Momma-Kay’s bag she screamed, “Hey, hey!”  It was so funny.  She was the keeper of the candy.  She gave it out on her terms!

This morning we had so much fun playing with Mollie Grace and Maggie.  They are such sweet and special friends!

So this morning started out like any normal day.  We were playing with puppies and kitties and reading books.  Noelle then goes into her closet and picks out a book we’ve never read before.  She comes and sits in the doorway and starts reading it.  On the last page, I hear her freaking out, seriously yelling, “CLAW, CLAW!”  I went over to look at the page and couldn’t believe what I saw.

It is so neat to see her visually engaging and making connections in her little world.  There’s nothing like being alongside a baby watching them learn and grow!

The back of Noelle’s hair is growing in two layers – it’s really cute!

We went to Chick-fil-A on a date lunch with Daddy.

Rara and Poppa came to town this weekend to accept the Conservation Hero of the Year Award given by the Texas Conservation Alliance.  We are so proud of your conservation efforts – the Wildlife Refuge on the Neches will be enjoyed for generations to come because of your tireless campaign!

Talk on the phone a lot…

Pet the kitties and say “meow” a little…

Give dad his daily dental exam…

I had a friend tell me about a great book linked from the Super Nanny book on our blog.  I bought it, and Noelle and I have been trying to do one activity per day from the book.   I love all of the fun and easy ideas! 

The book is entitled “The Toddler’s Busy Book” by Trish Kuffner – 365 creative games and activities to keep your 1 1/2 to 3 year old busy! Noelle played with the clothespin poke all morning! 

Thanks Shawn and Ashley for hanging out with us last night!  We had a blast.  Noelle kept calling Ashley “Ouchy” – it was really cute!
