This was our last summer hoorah before kindergarten starts on Monday!!!<\/p>\n

Noelle rode everything she was tall enough to ride.  She\u2019s done a 180\u2026 last summer this child wouldn\u2019t even jump off the side of the pool.  She\u2019s gotten so brave!!! <\/p>\n

Bekah and Mike were the dare devils of the day, first to try out the new torpedo ride!<\/p>\n

This was by far the scariest ride in the park!  Mike was trying to talk me into riding it all day long.  I said, \u201cWhy?  What\u2019s the point?\u201d  And he said, \u201cTo live and be alive!\u201d  When he said that, I knew I would eventually have to face my fears\u2026<\/p>\n

The lazy river was my favorite part\u2026 we floated down it all day long!<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s me finally getting into the torpedo\u2026 I was up there forever trying to build up the courage!  I wanted to come down the stairs so badly, but I knew that would not be a good example to Noelle about facing challenges in life.<\/p>\n

She ran up to me with the biggest smile on her face and screamed, \u201cYou did it, Mommy!  You faced your fears!\u201d  I broke down crying because I had been so scared and was so proud of myself for giving her this moment of triumph.  Now I know why they have these scary activities at Christian camps \u2013 they really do build confidence!<\/p>\n

The park was open late for a summer movie, but lightning was spotted in the sky, so we didn\u2019t get to see how that was going to work out.  <\/p>\n
