I am enjoying church so much!!! The girls are making new friends and love going to church! I feel rested after I\u2019ve been and that\u2019s an amazing feeling!<\/p>\n
This was my favorite part of the service last week. It\u2019s a prayer by William Arthur Ward. Every time I read it, something else stands out. It\u2019s lovely.<\/p>\n
Fast from judging others; feast on the Christ indwelling in them.<\/p>\n
Fast from emphasis on differences; feast on the unity of all life.<\/p>\n
Fast from apparent darkness; feast on the reality of light.<\/p>\n
Fast from words that pollute; feast on phrases that purify.<\/p>\n
Fast from discontent; feast on gratitude.<\/p>\n
Fast from anger; feast on patience.<\/p>\n
Fast from pessimism; feast on optimism.<\/p>\n
Fast from worry; feast on trust.<\/p>\n
Fast from complaining; feast on appreciation.<\/p>\n
Fast from negatives; feast on affirmatives.<\/p>\n
Fast from unrelenting pressures; feast on unceasing prayer.<\/p>\n
Fast from bitterness; feast on forgiveness.<\/p>\n
Fast from self-concern; feast on compassion for others.<\/p>\n

Gentle God, during this season of fasting and feasting,<\/p>\n
