*Noelle has to deserve dessert in the evenings based on her behavior and how well she eats.   One night this week I told her not to get under the table at the restaurant.  She disobeyed.  I said, \u201cNoelle, I just asked you not to go under the table.  You lose your dessert privilege.\u201d  She politely said she was SO sorry and asked for a little grace.  How can you say no to that?  We talked about what grace truly means, and I told her she could have grace tonight.  <\/p>\n

So, on the way home, we got the girls ice cream, and I took a bite of hers.  Apparently she thought it was a little too big, because she said, \u201cMom, you can\u2019t give me grace and then take it away!\u201d<\/p>\n

Another side note about Noelle: She began reading on January 13th!  We\u2019re just reading beginner books, but so far she\u2019s read 5 all by herself!  So happy about that!<\/p>\n

*Anna Kate calls Elmo, Nemo.  She is just so confused by those two.  Also, if you ask her how old she is, she\u2019ll scream, \u201cNINE!\u201d  We laugh and correct her with, \u201cAnna Kate, say one,\u201d and she will even more emphatically yell out, \u201cNINE!!!\u201d  So be it!  She is also saying \u201cCool!\u201d all the time!<\/p>\n

Yesterday, my dear friend Carol took Noelle to school so I wouldn\u2019t have to get Anna Kate out in the cold.  When Anna Kate woke up, she said, \u201cWhere sissy?\u201d  I said, \u201cShe\u2019s at school.\u201d  And she said, \u201cAH MAN!\u201d  Then she said, \u201cWhere Daddy?\u201d  I said, \u201cHe\u2019s at work.\u201d  She said even louder, \u201cAH MAN!!!\u201d  So cute!<\/p>\n

And\u2026 the girls just can\u2019t get enough of this silly video!  (excuse the gorilla)  Thanks Aunt E!<\/p>\n

One year after living here, and we finally found a desk for Mike\u2019s office \u2013 yay!  Each piece we add to the house is so fun and exciting and definitely worth the wait.<\/p>\n
