Anna Kate wants to be a dentist when she grows up. She’s been saying this since she could understand what it meant… probably since age 2 ½.  We’re always encouraging her love for science, and when I found this fun skeleton in the Halloween section, I knew Anna Kate would LOVE it!  She totally dug it and told Rose not to look because she was not a doctor, and it would scare her.  We looked up skeletons on the iPad, and as we were putting together her skeleton she said, “Mom, I’m going to pretend the iPad is my x-ray machine.”  She really gets it.  And she’s not grossed out by blood or anything else, she actually is really curious and interested.  It’s neat to see her figuring it all out.

Who knows what Anna Kate will end up loving, but today she loves the thought of one day being a dentist, and I think that is so cool.  She even gave me the assurance that she wouldn’t give me braces. Thank.you.very.much!
