So, we watched “Soul Surfer” on Saturday night, the movie about Bethany Hamilton.  It was really neat.  Most of you know, she’s the surfer who got attacked by a shark and lost her arm.  The movie really resonated with Noelle, and Mike and I were having a really teachable moment with her.  She asked lots of questions, and we asked her how she would feel if she lost an arm and how she would want to be treated if she were different from other kids, etc.  We were having a great conversation.  However, I could tell Anna Kate was feeling left out.  So, I simply asked her, “What did you learn from the movie, Anna Kate?”  I kid you not, she said, “That girl got a TINY TINY pinch!”  For the past couple of days, that phrase has come up a lot around here.
