After pony rides, egg tosses, and water slides, the girls had a blast swimming with lots of bubbles before making homemade pizzas and s’mores by the campfire!

Here’s the birthday girl right before the egg toss game, and then the girls had a surprise guest come say, “Howdy!”  His name was ‘Buffalo Bill,’ and he came all the way from Wyoming to greet the girls! 

Rose was in heaven with all the big girls at the party!  She was right in the middle of her element, and truly thought she was just as big as everyone else.  She honestly doesn’t know the difference, lol!  She had a blast putting soap all over the girls’ faces, and they kept yelling, “Rose! Rose! My turn…” She worked the crowd, getting everyone soapy.  She thought she was doing big time favors.  It was adorable!  All the girls made her feel so special!  She’s a lucky little girl to have all of this excitement at such a young age!  One of the perks of being the 3rd girl in the family, for sure!

After a delicious home-made horsey cake and presents, the girls had a pillow fight outside, enjoyed looking at the stars, playing in a tent, running around with glow sticks, roasting s’mores and playing more hilarious games with “Buffalo Bill!”  After all of that excitement, Rose and I said, “Night, night!” to our sissies and went home for a super quiet night’s sleep.  Although Noelle has spent the night with friends, this was her first slumber party.  This was Anna Kate’s first sleepover with friends and slumber party!  Both of the girls had a blast, and enjoyed lots of donuts the next morning.  In fact, Anna Kate told us she ate FIVE!  One of the joys of being four years old and getting a taste of freedom, ha!  So thankful for the Ladwig family and their friendship!  Happy Birthday, Bristin!  

Our sweet neighbor, Bristin, had the most action-packed slumber party you could ever think up last Saturday night!  I can’t even list all of the activities the kids did, but they moved from one to the next to the next to the next until their heads hit their pillows.  Both Noelle and Anna Kate spent the night!  Bristin is one very lucky girl to have such a fun, loving and creative Mommy!  Happy 8th Birthday, Bristin!

Just a couple of Instagram collages I didn’t want to forget to post on the bloggity blog! 

Noelle went up to help Ella Bella owner, Kara, and me with a really fun Saturday event to get the party going at the store last weekend.  I put feathers in girls’ hair, Kara had punch and cookies, and tons of blow-out sales!  I shopped every time I was in between customers!  It was just such a fun day playing in the store and watching to see how Kara makes the magic happen.  We had a blast.  Noelle asked how much longer, and I said, “Two more hours.” and then she immediately got a big smile on her face and said, “YES!”  She loved every minute of being up there in the fashion action.  She started greeting people at the door and welcoming them to come on it.  Kara says she’s a natural.  One thing’s for sure, all things fashion, is what is Noelle’s passion.  Kara is such a wonderful mentor and friend to Noelle about her future endeavors, possibly one day, as a fashion designer/buyer/seller… all of that good stuff. 

For today, Noelle asked me text Kara beforehand to wear a bubble necklace but not to tell her N was going to have one on too!  So, when we got to the store, Kara and Noelle were so happy to see their matching necklaces and Noelle said, “I wanted us to match.  I wanted to be like you!”  I hope Noelle continues to grow in wisdom, gentleness, and faith that Kara exudes in her life and her store.  They make a pretty good fashion team!  Shop Ella Bella, especially over tax free weekend, for back to school or just something fun and festive for fall.  You can check them out online too at www.arlingtonellabella.com  If you’ve ever seen an outfit of our girls on the blog that you’ve really liked, it most likely came from Ella Bella!!!

Rose and Boo love making patterns with water bottles and paper towels in the pantry.  This may be her fav 2 year old activity!  Her towers get pretty tall and impressive!  She made this game up all by herself, and it probably keeps her the most entertained out of all of the toys in our house!

Last Saturday, Noelle served pancakes at her first fundraiser for cheerleading.  I was too busy helping to take a pic in all the action, but here she is smiling at a job well done at the end of the morning breakfast rush!
