Although the girls were very tired from being at Sweet and Sassy all day, we had to celebrate Cinco de Mayo for dinner like we always do!

It was like the girls hadn’t eaten all day when the birthday dessert came out, lol!  They were little chickens just pecking away at it… we were all cracking up watching them get bites!

Anna Kate was getting too much, so Noelle was telling her to “share” in this picture… such the mother hen of the bunch!

And then she gives Rose a spoonful of her own ice cream because she still didn’t think Rose was getting enough; sweet girls!

However, Rose got the last laugh… when the big girls got bored with it, she got to lick the bowl!

Anna Kate was already out on the patio dancing!

Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone, and happy birthday, baby!!!

Mike called this, “The every combo family picture shoot!”  Lol!  We were having fun!  Today was all about celebrating the love and life we share with Noelle!  Her fashion, her passion, her style, her way… we embrace our creative child with joy!

Grandpapa wasn’t feeling well, so he wasn’t able to come!  We sure did miss him!  These girls are blessed to have such loving grandparents to enjoy life’s special days with them!

I wonder when picture taking will take 2 seconds like it does for adults and big kids?  I’m thinking when Rose is 4?  That’s only 2 more years of acting goofy and doing bunny ears behind the camera to get everyone to look and smile!  We’ll probably treasure these wheels off pictures just as much though.  Rose wasn’t having it any other way than to wear her crown upside down.  Pretty fitting!  Lol…

Happy 7th Birthday, Noelle!

Noelle got a surprise from us that’s she’s been really really wanting for a long time.  Can’t wait to show you guys pictures of what it is!

A couple of really special people stopped by to say Happy Birthday to the birthday girl.  Marcos was going to do Noelle’s hair as a surprise but didn’t get there in time… he said, not to worry, that he would do it anytime, which made her eyes twinkle and shine! And Miss Holly’s flights got rearranged, so she stopped by to give the birthday girl some lovin’!  🙂

Anna Kate and Noelle were ready to head on over to the pedicure station, and we were like, “We’ve gotta get out of here!!!”  They could live here, for sure!  The fun definitely never ends!

The girls got to share some of their favorite hobbies as they walked down the runway after getting crowned princesses with crowns, wands, and a princess certificate… every little girl in the world should feel like a princess, right!?!  Some people think it’s over-rated, but I think you can’t build a little girl’s self-confidence enough!  Princess to the power of 12 today!!!

Now it’s time to dance!!!

Noelle has been wanting a Sweet & Sassy birthday for as long as I can remember… I just wanted to make sure she’d remember it, lol!!!  This is the perfect age to have a dress-up and dance kind of party.  The girls were so giddy and excited and danced the day away! 

This year, I let Noelle design her cake.  I gave her a sheet of paper and drew two rectangles on it (for the tiers of the cake, the bottom one large and the top one a little smaller), and told her she could design her own cake however she wanted.  She came up with this all by herself!  I thought it was going to look crazy (just so much going on), but it turned out awesome (just like Noelle’s style)!  She’s such a designer!

I got the stomach bug yesterday, the day after the party, so I’m anxious to get on the computer and get the party pics on the blog!  I’m still just thinking about all those sweet and happy little girls.  Life is so short, and these moments make my heart sing! 

I can’t believe you are 7 years old today!  You are our joy and our delight!  We are blessed with your love and friendship, and your kind and gentle spirit… along with your hip bomb-shell sense of fashion!  You bring so much color and sass to our our lives… what a gift you are to us, our little girl!  Love you, Noelley Belly!!!
