Anna Kate and her friends Jacob, Livy, and Ella are the luckiest kids in the world to have such an awesome school and teacher that takes them on Field Trips almost every week.  Anna Kate’s little life is getting off to such a great, healthy, happy start!  We are blessed!

But it didn’t take long to realize this gator wasn’t real and actually a whole lot of fun!

As Anna Kate and I were looking through her school pictures tonight, she told me, “That kangaroo and her little joey weren’t real, but her little joey was so cute!”  That cracked me up!  Mrs. Paula is from Australia, so she’s getting the low-down on lots of cool lingo!

 

Anna Kate told me this is the tank that had Finding Nemo and Dory in it, and she spotted them both!  Cool!

Noelle had her 1st grade performance last week called “Nuts!”  Here’s some of her buddies before the show; Chloe, Emerson, Georgia and Noelle.  They did such a great job; It was super cute!  I have lots more pictures to post, so I’ll have those up this week, along with pictures of her school carnival!  Just wanted to post some Instagram pics on our blog to give our blog readers captions to the pictures if you don’t have Instagram on your phone.  At least you can see our more up-to-date pics on the sidebar!  Hope everyone has a great week!

Mike recorded Noelle’s favorite song from her school musical “Nuts!” for you guys get to see!  It’s soooo cute and adorable!  They say, “We’re big bad squirrels!  We know you think we’re precious, we know we think were sweet, but we do the heavy lifting, yeah, we rock there’s no dispute, yeah, we rock there’s no dispute.  We’re big bad squirrels!”  Hope it brings a smile to your day like it did ours!

There are no words to describe how much joy this little ball of energy brings to our family.  She’s all out, all the time, and we love her for it!  Her cute little smile is contagious, no matter how much trouble she’s in!  As soon as I’m done, she’ll pat my cheek and give me her cute scrunchy-nosed smile, and I’m smitten all over again!

I don’t know how Rose unraveled all of our foil without me hearing her do it while I was doing the big girls’ hair one day last week.  She did this along with 3 other crazy things that I’ll spare you the details of… suffice it to say, she can demolish this place in a matter of minutes.  The other two would have never thought to do this, or countless other things Rose just can’t help getting herself into.  Her favorite show is Curious George, and he is always getting into trouble by trying to help; I think he may be her role model, lol!  She’s pretty much the most adorable Tasmanian devil you’ve ever seen, but we love her with all we’ve got!

Noelle loves to tell time!  She’s got it down but is still learning how to practically use the clock to understand how much time has passed or will pass.  She’s doing great though, and her progress this year at school has been incredible.  One day, she and I were working on this dry erase clock, and I told her I was going to trick her.  She was so giggly as she did the hands perfectly for 9:45 in the morning.  Then, she wrote me a special message on the clock: Busted, got it!!!  She loves to play, and teaching her is so much fun with her spunky positive attitude!

Anna Kate started dance two weeks ago for a little spring/summer mini-session.  She LOVES dance and is really good at it!  She just doesn’t like the monotony of studio dance year round.  It gets tedious and boring for her at age 3-4, but she’s all about this class!  Rose was in the hallway outside the room entertaining herself, lol!  So far, she has never been to the ER or had any broken bones.  It’s a wonder!  These two children are complete opposites in personality and demeanor, so we’ve got awesome variety around here!

 

Last weekend, we managed to squeeze in a few parties during our healthy day, lol!  Here’s Livy, Anna Kate and Rose at Jacob’s Pump It Up party! 

 

While Mike and the littles were at Jacob’s party, Noelle and I went to Kendall’s art smart party.  It was really neat!

 

Rara took Anna Kate to Livy’s party at the park that same morning!  Divide and conquer!  Birthdays are so much fun… headed out the door to Berkley and Hudson’s right now!  Hope everyone is enjoying this awesome weather.  Sunshine shine on!!!

Last week, we were sick one or two at a time with the stomach bug all week!  We thought we were getting better, and then another family member would start up again… always in the middle of the night.  We were exhausted!!!  One night, Rose and I were both sick, and Mike slept with Rose beside the commode.  It was the worst stomach bug I ever remember us having!  All that is to say, we did lots of this… dressing up, making up plays, and going crazy!  At least we were together… and as this beautiful spring weather blew in to Texas, so did our healing!  We have enjoyed doing yard work and playing out in the sunshine this week!  Hopefully we’ll have a nice long stretch of good health from now on… please join us in prayer!
