Brylee and Avery’s moms stopped by to work on PTA and consigning last week, and the girls were having so much fun, they stayed a couple extra hours while their mommies got to have a little break.  It was Anna Kate’s first play date with more than one friend (without all of us moms hanging out, lol), and they were in heaven.  You could tell they felt like such big girls.  They were proud of themselves! 

They were a trip playing games on the iPad and then I let them have some "privacy” upstairs.  They came down all dressed up like this; it was hilarious… and totally adorable! 

This place is heaven on earth!!!

Noelle and Georgia ran into each other at Urgent Care last weekend.  Georgia had strep and Noelle had an ear infection, but when they saw each other, they lit right up!  We were supposed to have dinner at Georgia’s house that evening, but neither Amy nor I had cancelled yet because we were holding out hope the girls would hang in there.  We ended up both getting antibiotics and rescheduled dinner!  Noelle and Georgia are so lucky to grow up right across the street from each other!  They are such sweet little girls!

Happy Valentine’s Day from the Horton and Pond girls… all 6 of them!!! 

Here’s Cerly and Anna Kate, and Noelle took this awesome picture of Brylee and Anna Kate… she did great!  She’s going to be a teenager on Instagram in no time!

I think Noelle and Audree will be big buds in this group.  Noelle’s the oldest, Audree’s the youngest, and Anna Kate/Brylee are the same age, and Rose/Cerly are the same age.  I can see them both just trying to keep their sisters out of trouble!

Noelle took this wall picture as well… thought it was artsy.  This is our hang out… no doubt about it!  Wish we could go more, but every time we do, we leave feeling so happy!

I never want to forget these days on the orange couches, exhausted but full of joy, with my girls and our sweet friends!

These are the littles headed to school the day before Valentine’s Day!

Mike gave the girls heart necklaces the night before Valentine’s as a special surprise.  They are little silver cut out hearts with their name written on the front side of the heart in cursive.  In the middle of the heart, dangles their birthstone.  They are really pretty and so special!  Mike adores his girls, and it’s my joy to take it all in!!!

Noelle’s Valentine’s box turned out so cute this year!  Each year at Noelle’s school, all the kids get to be creative and make their own box for their friends’ Valentine’s cards/candy to go in.  This was a combination of ideas I got from friends but turned out uniquely Noelle’s “Nobot the Robot!”

On Monday, Rose’s real birthday, both littles went to school because I had a doctor’s appointment.  Rose was beyond excited to tag-a-long with big sissy.  Anna Kate was not ready for preschool at 2.  She wanted to stay home with me.  Rose is at the back door begging to go, so we are trying to find a preschool that is perfect for her age group that she can call her own.

Had to post a couple more pictures from today!  Rose was so happy and excited on her birthday for all of the adventures the day would hold.  I love the life and anticipation in her eyes in these pictures.  She’s ready to go!

Mrs. Paula helped Anna Kate and Rose make cupcakes for Rose’s birthday at school!  This is just above and beyond anything I could hope for… she will never know how much this meant to me!!!

Mrs. Paula and Mrs. Julie are amazing!  I can’t believe they made baby Rose feel so special and loved at Anna Kate’s school on her birthday!  This is what community is all about.  We are so grateful!

How can you look at this face and not have a cake at every meal the weekend of her birthday, lol!  It just sort of turned out that way.  Since I had to be at the doctor on her big day, I simply had to do something extra special for her that night (I know we had the party, but still)… it was her birthday dinner! 

So, I picked up a fun ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins, and she loved it!

She licked every last bite off of her plate, and she was working on Noelle’s plate in this picture (see the plates stacked).  She enjoyed this birthday celebration down to the very last lick!
