We saw colored sand on a friend’s blog (thanks for the idea Keri), and the girls couldn’t wait to try out some of their own!  We had some friends over for cheese and wine while the girls played in the yard – it was such a fun night!

The big kids played for a while, but Anna Kate stayed at the table ALL night long – she’s our sand queen, and I had her in mind when I bought the table!

Next time we are going to fill it with part water, and hopefully make sand turtles with our sand molds.  The table came with lots of sifters and fun toys!  Cool!  The girls will enjoy this for a long time!

The first day of class the girls wouldn’t wear tights, but by the next class, they were ready!  I wasn’t going to fight that battle if I didn’t have to and in the summer it’s much more casual and not required (that’s why I like it so much)!

Anna Kate is the funniest kid these days.  She pretends to be an “old lady” and a puppy dog all the time (random, I know)!  She has the raspiest little voice- it’s so cute!

The other night we watched fireworks, and they really scared her.  On the way to the car, she was shaking.  I said, “Bless your heart!”  On the way home, she kept sniffling and saying, “Bless my heart!”  Can you get any cuter, Anna Kate!?!

I had so much help this week – it was awesome!  We had several doctor’s appointments, so Mike’s parents watched combos of the girls on Wed. and Nancy did the same on Thurs.  We are so thankful to have such great family to help us out!  Thanks guys!

I can’t believe Rose is 4 months old and already 14 lbs!  These pictures were taken the very first time she laughed at us.  It was after the big girls had gone to sleep, and she got so tickled that she found her feet.  She couldn’t stop laughing.  I thought in my head, “This is her very first laugh” so I ran to get the camera so I could remember what she looked like.  She may be a night owl like the rest of us to have so much fun this late at night.

The colic officially ended this week, and we have a happy, comfortable baby in it’s place – YAY!  My heart is so happy about this, I just can’t describe the relief.  It makes every thing less tense and easier around here to know that she is at peace and not hurting!

My favorite things about Rose are her precious smiles, of course, the way she puts out her lower lip when she needs us, her firm grip around our fingers when we “hold hands,” and her overall sweet countenance.  She is so curious about the world around her and is holding her head up really well, even when doing tummy time.  Noelle and Anna Kate love her to pieces and take such good care of her.  I think Rose will grow up with three “Moms” just like Brother Man, but as I say, even better! 

I don’t know what we ever did without Rose… she is the best!  We are so smitten over our 3rd baby girl!!!

Last weekend we went to an AirHogs baseball game, a minor league team in our area.  It was wild and fun…

They had tons of little play grounds the girls loved when we needed to take a break from the game – the stadium was very family friendly!

Malia is so busy, but I always catch her in the cutest little poses.  Noelle loved the AirHog mascot.  He was fun!  Anna Kate would taunt him but wouldn’t go any where near him.  Some fans next to us commented, “She’s brave when he’s not looking!”  She would yell, “AirHog!” and then scream and hide when he started walking toward her.  She’s funny!

While we were waiting for Mike to go get the car, the girls were having a blast with the statues outside the stadium.  It was quite humorous, really.

I so wished there was a way this statue could have come to life and kissed Noelle on the cheek.  I kept laughing to myself thinking about that scenario when she was playing around. 

Noelle was balancing on the puppy’s tail, and Anna Kate took a little ride – I think waiting for our ride was their favorite part of the night!  I’m telling you, it’s so in the little things for us!

Noelle had a blast at Bailey’s strawberry shortcake birthday party this weekend.  Here she is with Bailey and Elli, her sweet friends from school!  I forgot my camera, but Allison snapped this shot for the group!  These girls had such a great year together!
