Ananya had the coolest swim party on Saturday!  Our little dare devil climbed to the top of the splash house over and over again!

Noelle was so independent in the water today.  We were happy she is so comfortable!

Anna Kate was the epitome of a "hot mess" today!  My perfect angel decided to melt-down!  Happens to the best of us, I guess!

We haven’t been to this pool since Noelle was 2 years old!  I forgot how much fun it is!  Arlington is such a wonderful city… we are so blessed and happy to be here!

This weekend was jam-packed, and these were the only pictures that I took!  We had fun with the Starkeys at dinner on Friday and at the VBS closing celebration with the Pond grandparents and Devon on Sunday.  Then, to top the weekend off, Pa-E and Ma-E took us to dinner on Sunday night.  Thanks everyone for hanging out with us!

The highlight of the week was VBS.  Noelle had the time of her life.  The theme was Egypt, and they worked so hard making it amazing for the kids.

Noelle made a new friend named Jasmine.  They got in trouble for talking too much on Wednesday night, but other than that, they had a great time!  🙂

The church had murals and river scenes everywhere.  It was amazing!

And check out this stage, complete with fog machine!  Anna Kate and I would stay each day and sing and dance with the older kids before we went home.

Acting out "Little Red Riding Hood" with Mommy’s scarf.  She would say, "My oh my, how big your teeth look, Grandma!"  And then we’d jump at her and she’d take off.  Too fun!  I think we’ll do a lot more little red riding hood role playing!

Noelle picked a flower outside and set up this little scene by my sink in our bathroom last night.  Isn’t she cool!?!  Thanks Noelle!  I love it!

I watched Malia two afternoons this week because her Mommy was sick and her Daddy was out of town.  We had so much fun together.  She loved playing with cars and even said, "Vroom, vroom" when she was driving them.  She propped this orange one up like this on top of my computer – too funny!

Noelle made all kinds of crafts this week.  A few of them are picture frame, Egyptian necklace, sugar cube pyramid, a belt, and some lotion.  Cool!

Noelle had fun doing this craft this week as well.  She did it all by herself.  The blonde boy on the surf board is Bailey, the puppy is Jax, the blonde girl is Noelle, the brunette is Anna Kate, and the boy holding the frog is Drew.  She thought this was so cool!

From Noelle’s journal: At Chick-fil-A today, you asked me to read our blue prayer bracelets for Curt to the table. I said, “Sure. Hey guys, they say we are praying for Curt. Isn’t that cool!?!” You were SO proud, and it made me so proud.

So here we are, praying for Curt, as he fights for his life against ALS.  Our friends, the Ziemkes, are the most positive uplifting people you could ever meet in life.  Dealing with this disease is testing every one of us in new ways.  Some moments are happy filled with a treasure trove of wonderful memories, while the next are totally sad, filled with thoughts of pain and sorrow.  But, we embrace each day, the memories that it brings, the phone calls, the texts, and most of all, the unending love of true friends.

Noelle planned a really fun walk Sunday night for our family.  She was our tour guide, and we had a blast checking out the fishin’ hole in our neighborhood for the first time!

We had so much fun at Sydney’s 5th birthday party on Saturday!  Noelle had a blast making new friends.  The girls were all so sweet!

Anna Kate had fun playing in the back yard!  She’s sort of in la-la land – there was so much going on… she was trying to take it all in!

Noelle had a blast overcoming her fears and going down the big slide in the bounce house!  I was so proud of her!

The girls looked so cute in their matching outfits… hence another attempt at a sister picture… I promise you I won’t give up!  Not yet anyway… 🙂

We met some neighbors at the fountain for a picnic Saturday night.  I didn’t take my camera, but it was so relaxing and fun.  Loving summer!

We love you, Mikey!!!  You’re the best Daddy in the whole wide world!  Noelle and I have talked about Father’s Day all week and have been planning a special day for Mike.  When we woke up, I asked Noelle, "What do you say to Daddy?"  And instead of the rehearsed, "Happy Father’s Day!" she said, "Thank you, Daddy!"  We both thought that was the best way to say it!  🙂

Also, Happy Father’s Day to Poppa and Grandpapa!  We love you both very much!

We love you friends and had a blast, as usual, playing with you one last time before your big move to San Marcos this weekend.  We’re praying for you!!!
