Noelle couldn’t be more excited and can’t wait to show all of you her new "big girl bed" in person!

We just planted lots of spring flowers in our flower beds.  When they really start blooming, I’ll take lots of pics to show you (crossing my fingers)… this was one that I cut to put in a vase next to my kitchen sink.  This pic was another surprise I found on my camera, love Mike.  Thanks for taking pics that I don’t think of… you’re super creative and that’s cool!

So, Noelle and I were just playing "Go Fish."  I had 10 matches and she had 8.  She said, "So I guess you win, right?"  I said, "Right,"  then she proceeds to say, "Aww… Dammit!"  I said, "Noelle, you can’t say that word."  She said, "Why not?"  I said, "It hurts some people’s feelings."  She said, "Does it hurt your feelings?"  I cracked a smile and said, "No."  Then she changed the subject saying, "Well, then you cheated."  I was cracking up like, "What?  Noelle, you can’t win everything all the time, but Mommy would never cheat.  I don’t have a problem using some words in certain contexts, but I definitely have a problem with cheating." 

We went to Disney in the park with our new neighbors Riann and Angela and their sweet daughters, Julia (Riann’s), and Ainsley, Sydney, and Colbey (Angela’s).

Anna Kate obviously LOVES facing forward in her new big girl car seat next to sissy.  We ran errands all day today, and they were holding hands and laughing the whole time.  This is such a GREAT next step!  

Poppa & Rara came to Arlington to run a few "city" errands.

And as soon as they got here, they were gone!  🙁

We love how Anna Kate’s sweet nursery turned out.  Simple, sweet, and special!

The name Anna Kate is of Greek origin meaning "gracious" and "pure".  We pray these virtues would fill up her soul and encompass who she is throughout her life! 

We shared a little bit about Anna Kate’s personality and our hopes and dreams for her, along with our favorite scripture for her, then Stephanie had questions of intent for us, her parents, and the community, then Mike sang a song he wrote for our girls and lastly, the gathering laid hands on Anna Kate to be prayed over and blessed.
