The show must go on…

One of Noelle’s cool drawings from this week.
Noelle used my post-it notes to border the table in preparation for her birthday, and we have a leak under our sink.
This is how Mommy feels about the leak (another creation by Noelle this week).
In addition to bordering the table, she colored each post-it note. I post 1/4 of the things she thinks up out of her creative little head.
That’s a lot of water! The plumber says it’s the A/C guys, the A/C company says it’s the plumber… As Mom says, "Just deal with it! That’s life!" Tis true, tis true…
Nap Time and Beyond!

Love you guys!
We took a little walk after nap time before Rara’s birthday dinner.
Thanks J&N for heading up from Houston to be here – it meant so much to have you guys be a part of Anna Kate’s special day!
My first baby did such a great job sharing the spotlight today! I’m so proud of Noelley Belly!!!
Lollipop Birthday Party!
March 20th, 2010
I can’t believe Anna Kate is already one! She has been an awesome trooper this year and couldn’t have been a better baby. What a SWEET SWEET blessing!
Enjoy the fancy! Next year is going to be simple simple. I promise!
Thanks for all the great ideas, E!
I loved picking out some of my favorite pictures from this year for the mantle!
Thank you Poppa and Rara for the beautiful flowers & lollipop cookies!!!
Since my canvas artists (Michele & Keri) are out of state and country, Aunt Sharon decorated the door with one of Anna Kate’s first birthday pictures. It turned out so cute!
Mommy and Daddy with the party star!
You guys know I love pictures, so everyone was grabbing my camera and snapping shots all day (I thought that was super cool). We had over 500 pics by the end of the day and LOVED them all, so thanks to everyone who took fun pics like this one!
Attempt at a family photo – lol! Go Noelle, you can smile, almost there…
"Hi Landon!"
Thanks for all you guys’ help with the party! You know what you did! 🙂
Here’s a picture of most of the kiddos at the party!
We had a 1st year music & video mix playing, and Noelle had a ball dancing with her friends and showing them our pictures on the TV.
Cake time!!!
The girls love each other so much! It’s so cute to watch them interact.
I love Anna Kate’s face in this picture!
Clap for Sadie and "Jumpy jumpy" for present time!
Malia (June baby), Anna Kate (March baby), and Sadie (Feb. baby) of 2009!

Our homebody!

Noelle is the most happy when she is creating "projects" at home! She calls it her homework.
She makes up little scenes and games everyday that she is so proud of, and we are too!
This is how she feels about trying out gym again. In dance, her get-up (bun, leotard, tights, shoes) were all "TOO TIGHT," and gym, well, you can see the excitement in her face, can’t you!?!
She refused any "I’m so excited to go to gym class" pics, but we went ahead and gave it a good brownie try. We are going to try one more time next Wednesday, and if she doesn’t like it again, then I guess we will just kick a lot of balls out back this summer.
We love you so much, Noelle! We just want you to be active and have fun. We’ll find your niche, it just might take us being a little creative, just like you!
So funny, so random, so us!

Okay, so we were sound asleep this morning (early early, like 5:00AM) and Mike woke me up because he yelled out, "Noooo!!!!" I was thinking, "Are we okay, what’s up?" He was just like, "Sorry" and rolled back over really groggy.
So at lunch, we instant messaged and here’s how the conversation went:
Mike: you know how i yelled in bed this morning
me: yeah
Mike: i think i know what happened
me: ok
Mike: i think i was dreaming that we were lying there in bed this morning, just like we were
me: yeah
Mike: and i dreamed that a Mexican mariachi band slowly opened our door and crept into the room and they were about to play a song really loud and i yelled b/c we were too sleepy to listen and didn’t want them to play
so anyway
that’s what happened
me: NO WAY!
Mike: yeah i’m not kidding
me: you are crazy
that’s amazing!
Mike: haha yeah i know
me: i love you
Mike: i love you too
The fate of a fisherman

So, Poppa went out for some R&R time with God and nature, and low and behold, the action followed him there!
He caught the 3rd largest bass from a kayak in recorded history in Texas! He is going to be in the April issue of Texas Fish & Game Magazine and has had several interviews with local newspapers.
Guess when you’re paddlin’ where the good Lord leads you, you’ll have some big fun along the way! 🙂

Journal entry to Noelle
March 10th, 2010
March 9, 2010
I don’t write enough. You’re too fast. You say the darndest things all the time. You’re a ham and a toot… so incredibly animated. On to a couple of stories I wrote on a napkin so that I could remember to journal them to you.
On the way to church on Sunday, you asked me, “When you got married, did you sit on the fireplace with Daddy and drink tea and dream of your kids?” I said, “Of course!” giggling to myself. Then you said, “I missed you while I was in heaven. Did you miss me?” I said, “I missed you all my life until God gave you to us!”
At church, I played with you in the kids area afterward. It’s so spacious, and I felt like doing a cartwheel (we were by ourselves, btw). I showed you and you said, “I like your moves Mommy!”
Then we went to draw on the chalk board. You drew a circle for the face, two eyes and a smile. I said, “Now you should add some hair.” You said, “Well actually, it’s Daddy!” Lol…
So so goofy!

On the way to Anna’s birthday party, Noelle said she needed these glasses to protect her from the rain!
Then she said, "This is how girls look at boys with sunglasses on!"
"Seriously?" Oh my dear, dear child. At Mollie Grace’s party, she came downstairs and told me, "We’re upstairs talking about kissing!" I told her the only thing she better be kissing is her momma or an elephant… she just started laughing and said she would rather kiss a dolphin. I said okay to that too.
