We love the Christian family and are so blessed by their friendship!

After our play date, we came home, but we got distracted along the way.  The kids in the common area in our neighborhood were building snow tunnels.  They were really cool.  They were carving windows and working together.

Noelle begged and begged to get out.  I tried to tell her but some things just have to be experienced.  She won’t want to get out of the car next time we have a snow storm that breaks every record in recorded history!  🙂

And then we worked and worked on getting our cars in the garage for the night because the storm was still coming on strong.

Stacy had some friends over to celebrate heart day.  She was so sweet to have us and made yummy soups and hot chocolate!

Hard day last week!  Anna Kate is into EVERY drawer and simply EVERYTHING all the time.  I’m trying to keep my little buddy safe, but do I really have to drill latches in my beautiful new drawers?  So far, I’ve got my hawk eyes and ears on her constantly. 

However, once Mike got home, I had had enough.  Noelle was blowing this whistle (the pink one in my left hand) over and over, and I had just pulled Anna Kate out of another drawer (for the millionth time), so I confiscated the whistle, got a Reese’s and hid in the pantry.  Mike and Anna Kate found me at the same time.  Mike was just laughing at how silly I looked, but I was just done.  (Moms out there, you know those days!)

P.S.  This Cortiva Institute t-shirt is my favorite t-shirt.  I wear it all the time.  Brother Man gave it to me a couple of years ago when he was getting rid of some of his shirts.  Funny thing is, he nor I have a clue what the Cortiva Institute is… the shirt just feels good.  Isn’t that goofy!?!

We love our neighborhood!  In fact, it’s the prettiest neighborhood I have ever seen, ever.  We didn’t plan on living here… we even had a contract on a lot some where else.  We have awesome neighbors!  Everyone is so friendly and fun!  There are lots of kids.  Anyway, I was driving the girls through the neighborhood to see the snow when it first started and thought, "I’ll take some pics of my favorite houses for you guys to see the neighborhood we have fallen in love with."  And I couldn’t stop taking pictures… then I realized, we have around 100 houses in our neighborhood and all of them are my favorite.  So… enjoy the tour of just a few.

This is the neighborhood pond.  They stock it with fish for the kids to catch and release.

We are so glad to be home!!!

Mike invited a few friends over on Sunday to watch the big game.  It was fun to have the guys coordinate the party!  Thanks Courtney for the football brownies!

This first picture is the kind of pics I’m getting of my girls these days.  Noelle won’t smile and Anna Kate won’t stay still… I’m just a little frustrated because they are so stinkin’ cute.  At least Beckett and Noelle posed for me!

For some reason, serving food for people stresses me out, so when it turns out, I’ve gotta take a picture!!!

Anna Kate is talking up a storm and developing quite the personality.  Love this booger!  By the way, she won’t wear those cute little headbands that Noelle used to wear with bows on them, so I have a bow-less baby (gasp), however, just wait for the V-day pics… let’s just say Mommy is SO happy!

Both girls had a blast playing with Beckett.  Anna Kate thought he was so big and cool, and Noelle was setting the agenda, and he was admiring her and loving it.  So funny how kids are!
