Friends, Flowers, and Fun!
April 7th, 2009
While I was brushing my teeth one night this week, Noelle went and got a book and a blanket and decided to read Anna Kate a bedtime story all on her own – sweet big sister!
Anna Kate was really paying attention to all big sissy had to say.
Big Phil and Stephanie stopped by to share a meal with us – we’ve had such wonderful help from our church and Mops friends with food – it’s been amazing!!! The middle pic is Noelle playing dress up after dance class. Now that winter’s over, she’s crazy about her winter accessories!
I love this sweet picture of Stephanie with both of our little girls!
SO sweet and SO sassy!
Every time I take a picture of Anna Kate, it always reminds me of a pic we have of Noelle… I just love to compare because they resemble each other so much!

Remember this flower? Probably not, let me tell you all about it…
So the story is as follows… after growing this flower in Dec. 07, I planted the bulb of this amaryllis in the corner of our backyard. I totally forgot about it, and about a month ago, I spotted some pretty shiny green leaves in that corner. I dug up the plant (not knowing what is was – I actually thought it was an orchid I had done the same thing with), repotted it, and it turned out to be the amaryllis from ’07… resilient little flower! It has really brightened our days and filled them with excitement and anticipation! Noelle loves her plant and waters it everyday – a cool little gift from God!
Celebrating Tate!

Our spring sweetie waiting for everyone to arrive!
Noelle and her buddy Nolan – she couldn’t wait to get to Beau and Kristin’s to see Nolan. She kept saying the whole way there, "Are we at Nolan’s house yet?"
Sweet Anna Kate after the car ride to Plano for the shower.
My Mom came in on Friday to help me get ready for the shower. The flower creations are Rara’s doing – isn’t she amazing! I’m so blessed to have a mother who is always willing to help me when I need extra hands!
Blue bubble bath punch!
Elizabeth’s Mom entertaining all the kids, and they loved every minute of it!
Create -A- Tate game that I found on the internet to do at the shower – turned out to be so much fun and great for hanging out and visiting!
Holding sweet Anna Kate…
and then Noelle… girls everywhere, I love it!!!
I love this picture because Mike had asked Noelle to "put your cheek up to Mommy’s."
Sweet big sister Emme with her friend Ava.
Noelle and Ty working on play dough creations.
Beau won the apple juice chugging contest by a long shot! GO BEAU!
All the Create -A- Tate creations… mine is the one beside the green BU Tate with the mulit-colored hair. Noelle’s was the one with the purple play dough on the bottom left. She was so creative and I must mention each little piece is a different accessory for Tate. She had so much fun using her imagination. She gave him a gym suit and a purse, among other things… we then talked about some things baby boys might like to have! (:
Winner of the Create -A- Tate contest! Sic ’em Bears!
Ty & Elizabeth with Tate on the way, and Emme dressing up in her Uncle Bill’s Hecho En Mexico hat… silly Uncle Bill!!!
Present Time!
Daddy daughter time!
We gave the Kelly’s a boy version of Anna Kate’s car seat cover. They put it on Emme’s old car seat… pretty cool and stylish if I do say so myself!
Sweet Anna Kate taking an afternoon nap.
The hostesses with E – The shower was so amazing and everyone had so much fun!
Love you E and can’t wait to meet baby Tate!
Our little family at the end of a great day!
"Movin’ Everyday" P.E. Program
April 2nd, 2009
We just got home from Noelle’s school P.E. program. All I can say is that I will never go to a school program without taking the video camera ever again!
Noelle was waving to the crowd and smiling and waving at us the entire time!
Lots of waves to make sure all eyes are on her! Pretty hysterical!
Right about now, the lady beside me said, "The one with the white bow has got to be yours!" I just smiled and said, "Sure is!"
Noelle’s class had the cutest little routine – they did so great!
At this point, Noelle was a little nervous they were leaving without giving us hugs and kisses. I’m anxious to pick her up today and give her lots of lovin’… she was so stinkin’ cute this morning!
Love, Noelle
