Noelle’s Funny Phrases!
January 29th, 2009
"Not today, but maybe tomorrow." (Sample questions: Do you want me to peel you an orange? Do you want to color?)
"Not at all!" (Sample question: Do you need to go potty?)
"How cool is that!?!" or "That’s amazing!" (She always says that when we look at our friends’ blogs!)
Meeting Lucky!
January 28th, 2009
We had a great lunch at Chili’s with Devon today, then naturally, headed over to Hobby Lobby. It’s not everyday you see ice all over the place in Texas!
Sweet Lucky was so patient with Noelle as they were making friends. Devon got him 2 months ago, and we have been wanting to meet him ever since. He was going to be named Lucy, but then Devon found out he was a boy. Since she had already ordered his collar, he became Lucky!
Devon is always finding special little surprises for Noelle. Today she gave her Tinkerbell stickers – such a perfect surprise for our little fairy!
Noelle loves animals in such a special way – I love watching her connect with all her furry little friends.
We had such a wonderful afternoon with Devon and Lucky! Thanks for having us over!
A Tag I Can Do!
January 28th, 2009
My friend Heather tagged me… Here’s what you do:
1. Go to your 4th folder where you store your photos.
2. Select the 4th photo (no exceptions).
3. Post the picture with an explanation and link it back to your tagger.
4. Tag 4 people do do the same.
I didn’t know if it meant the 4th folder from the top or the bottom, so I did both. This is a pic of Matt, Kevin, and Mike when they graduated from Baylor, December of ’02.
This was at the mall last week in the play land.
I tag Michele, Brook, Amber, and Megan.
Our friend Yuuki!
January 27th, 2009
Since I was in the 5th grade, I’ve had a penpal from Japan named Tomomi. That’s when penpal was literal because there was no such thing as email.
We’ve shared life together through correspondence all these years (reuniting once in college when she got to meet Mike) and now we both have children close to the same age as well. Noelle loves talking about Japan and Yuuki, and now that the Eberts are there, it makes it all the more exciting!
I want to be a Japanese girl!
January 26th, 2009
Noelle, you are so cute and fun! Poppa and Rara have been in Japan for the past two weeks, and Noelle has really missed them. She has worn her kimono (her penpal Yuuki gave her) and talked about Japan constantly. She’s loved following their trip and always asks if she can be a "Japanese girl" when she plays dress-up.
Here’s a geisha the parents got to admire in Kyoto.
Friday Play Time!
January 23rd, 2009
Play land time!
Aww…
This is the first time I’ve taken my camera out in so long! I had fun!
Noelle was being Miss Manners today and didn’t know what to think about silly Sam!
The real deal! Noelle was saying, "Don’t squish me up!" So funny!
Sam wants to start hockey lessons so bad! I think his Momma may go for it — we’d have so much fun coming to his games!
