Poppa & Rara came for a quick over-nighter on Sunday to hang out with us after the hurricane… their electricity was out, so they brought a freezer full of food!

A butterfly lit on Poppa’s back for the entire walk.  Every time we’d say he’s still there, Poppa would say, "Well, what do you expect?  I’m the nature man!"  🙂

What a great day in the park!

We went out to eat last night, and when we got home we found this message on our driveway: "I hope you have a good time… We all love you and God does too… From: Ashley, Mikayla, and Deja."  I love the picture they drew of Noelle; they are such sweet little friends!

I have editing issues with the post, I know.  I just couldn’t choose between all these smiles and cute poses!  

Noelle just couldn’t wait to meet Cinderella!

Noelle kept entertaining Cinderella all night (or vice versa).  She finally started calling Noelle by name – it was pretty funny.

Today we are celebrating two very special birthdays!  Happy Birthday to Mike’s Dad and Melissa’s sister!!!  Hope you guys have a wonderful day!

Craft for Grand Papa

I gave Noelle a sheet of black construction paper so she could see that the white crayon really does work and isn’t broken.  She was screaming, "It works!  It really works!"

We had so much fun celebrating Beau’s birthday Sunday while watching the Cowboys game!  Noelle LOVED playing with Nolan, their puppy!

Aww… well, maybe aww… depending on what you guys are up to!

Kristin made Noelle and me a lime "snow cone" while the adults had margaritas.  It was SO good!  And here is Noelle wishing Beau a happy birthday!

Noelle and Nolan had so much fun playing in the Cameron’s beautiful back yard.  At the end of the night, Noelle kissed Nolan good-bye and I overheard her say, "Thanks for playing with me, Nolan.  I love you."   

*Noelle had a big fall at Sam’s birthday party Friday, so her cheek has several scabs right now.  Hopefully they will finish healing soon!

The kids made robot heads when they arrived.  Noelle was still waking up from her nap, but it didn’t take her long to start having fun!

Noelle and Jillian checking out Bobot.  Jillian ran to her G-ma and started crying… well, Noelle saw her, then grabbed a bat, ran over to Bobot and started hitting him until I could get over there to tell her he comes in peace.  She was just protecting her friend!  I’ve never seen Noelle do anything like that before. (Isn’t it wild how their hair waves exactly the same on the side – I guess it’s an age thing.)

The kids kept asking Bobot if he would come to their birthday parties.  He was a total hit!  Mike is Sam’s dad and was such a great Bobot the Robot!

This is the first bounce house Noelle has ever been interested in jumping in.  The trampoline at gym has really opened her eyes to how much fun they are!

Lindsay had made a pin the antennae on the robot game on the fence – it was so cute!  I loved what one little boy said whose mom adjusted his bandana covering his eyes; he yelled out, "Great Mom, now I can’t see!"  Kids are so funny!

Late night dance party!

While I was in the shower this morning, Noelle set up this little nap mat trio outside our bathroom.  She thought she was so cute and clever… well, do you blame her?

Holly has loved Noelle and prayed for her ever since she was born, and Noelle finally got to meet her special angel today!  Holly just moved to Dallas from North Carolina, and we are so happy she is back in Texas!

Holly helped me do a little winter shopping after a great lunch in Southlake.  Honestly, today Noelle wasn’t at her finest (have I ever said that on the blog?), but we had such a great time together!  By the way, Holly and Noelle look a lot alike–I’m thinking that too!

These are two birthday presents I finally finished this afternoon for Ananya & Ashley.  I can’t wait to give them to the girls!
