All I Wanna Do Is Have Some Fun!
July 29th, 2008
We had such a blast boogie boarding at Bolsa Chica Beach! Riding the wave was such a neat feeling… thanks Cindy for making me try it!
Noelle enjoying the view…
Telling Brother Man all about it! Noelle always talks with her hands – so does John!
Now what?
"I’ve had enough of this sand!!!"
Pics after multiple sand burials.
I loved this castle beach home next door to…
Jessie James & Sandra Bullock’s house! I felt like such paparazzi – this is L.A. though, so it’s all part of the experience.
I LOVE these garage doors!
Back at the Ziemke’s house.
Fresh (giant) lemons coming right up!
Grapefruit anyone?
Tangerines, oranges, limes, you name it, the Ziemke orchard’s got it! I would kill for produce like this in my back yard.
"Nice to meet you, Mercedes!"
Mercedes is 30 years old and is the Ziemke’s family pet.
Noelle simply loves animals!
Day of Travel
July 29th, 2008
Hanging out at the next door neighbor’s saloon.
Curt & Cindy’s friends Bob & Trace got to the cabin as we were leaving. Cindy & Curt had their first date at Bob’s house when they were teenagers!
We are headed for L.A.!!!
The coolest tree house ever! "Ahhh, Sic ‘Em Bears!"
We stopped in Santa Barbara to reminisce.
Clarissa & I took our picture together in this sand box when she was 2 & I was 14 years old! Now, Clarissa is 15 & Noelle is 2 years old (and we got their pic together above).
Oprah and Clinton both have houses where the tree line comes forward on the right. We didn’t see her in her scooter this visit.
Mike & Noelle making their first footprints in the sand.
Dancin’ dancin’
Sand crabs!
Dorky T-shirt Night!
July 28th, 2008
If you’re wondering what’s dorky about Mike’s shirt it’s this: It has a pink stork on the top left side that says, "Noelle’s Daddy" on top of it. I made it for him when Noelle was born, and it is just plain silly! However, Curt took home the prize in my book!
Sibling Swap!
Later that night, Noelle and Brother Man crashed on the porch together.
The California gang!
Hiding with the cookie jar!
These pictures were taken right when we got off the lake tonight. Just too cute not to share!
