Drew’s Daddy was a Gator at A&M, so we thought this Easter Basket would be so fun for Drew to have!  Noelle became very attached, so we’ve been working with her that it is Drew’s Easter Basket!  I hope she is a good sharer this weekend. 

P.S.  In the first pic, you can see the stroller covered up with a kitchen towel.  Noelle apparently thought the baby was cold and needed a blanket, so she got her a towel from the drawer.  I love how she plays pretend.

Our good friends, Matt and Courtney are parents!  Their son, Beckett Micah Rakes was born Monday, at 7:00AM.  He is 4 lbs. 13 oz. and 17 3/4 in. long, which the doctor’s say is very good for being delivered early. 

He is having an operation this morning, so please be in prayer for Bekett.  Matt asked that we pray the surgery goes well and that Beckett recovers quickly.  The first 48 hours after the surgery are important so if he can progress through that time frame, the doctors consider that a big step in his recovery. 

Praise God for little Beckett! 

Did you know St. Patrick is said to have driven out all of the snakes out of Ireland?  There are still no snakes in Ireland to date, so they say.  Also, legend has it that St. Patrick used the clover to explain to trinity to those confused on the subject in his congregation.  He explained the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one just as the three leaves of the clover are three unique parts of the same plant.

I have been a busy little bee around here this week getting ready for the twice yearly Divine Consign sale at the Arlington Convention Center.  I sell lots of Noelle’s clothes, baby items, and my kid crafts to make money to buy our little girl fun clothes throughout the year!  I LOVE it!  So, if you’re in the metroplex and looking for some great deals this weekend check out the sale at www.divineconsign.net. 

Mike has been out of town on business this week, and we have missed him so much!  Every afternoon around 5:00 Noelle will say, "Daddy home, Daddy home!" and look at me with such anticipation.  Every time she has said, "I love you, Mommy," this week she’s followed it with, "I love you, Daddy!"  I always say, "Daddy loves to too sweet girl!"  We can’t wait to have our Daddy home tonight!

Our baby girl has been under the weather the past couple of days.  You can tell she doesn’t feel good, but has continued to ask me to put on her "Mits" and hat to play with.  We have also been practicing hunting Easter eggs around the house.  She loves it!  

I couldn’t decide whether to post these are not, but hey, everyone picks their nose, right?  Her face looks so grossed out!

Bed time routine: Noelle on her pillow, baby on her pillow, teddy bear, teddy bear, extra pillow (purple blanket), and green blankey.. in this order every night.  Mike was tucking her in last week and she went ballistic because he didn’t know that the baby had to be on her pillow too.  Noelle is sleeping off a fever in this pic but hopefully we’ll be all better tomorrow (we’re going to the park with friends).

These are two of my favorite pictures in the whole wide world because of the memory of the moment.  They were taken Easter ’06 right before Noelle was born.

The pictures don’t do justice on how funny/fun this was – it looked so crazy with 6’7" Jon flying Noelle all over the living room – she was in heaven!

Didn’t Mike do good?  We are getting "tropical" around here!  In less than a month we will be in Mexico, and we can hardly wait! 

Since it’s been so cold outside, we let Noelle bring her tricycle inside.  She loves it so much!  The outfit was my idea, the glasses and paci were Noelle’s.  Ever since she’s been hanging out with Jillian she’s been asking for a paci.  The child has never wanted a paci in her life, then at 22 months, she decides it’s cool!

She also loves to play pretend with her baby dolls.  Mike found Noelle’s baby strapped in her booster seat with her milk and grapes.  She was saying, "Good girl, eat grapes!"  It was so cute!
