Valentine Headquarters!
February 14th, 2008
So last week at our mid-week gathering we asked if everyone still wanted to meet this week because it’s Valentine’s Day. To my shock and disbelief, we had a room full of anti-valentiners (haha). Some had been single for way too long; they were even calling Valentine’s Day "Single’s Awareness Day," which I thought was really funny. But that didn’t stop me. Pull out the red carpet, folks, because tonight, amidst our book study, we are going to celebrate the day of LOVE!
Had to post a pic of my delicious cupcakes!
… and my design on a dime flowers, as well as our Valentine tree!
Noelle just had the CUTEST photo session a couple weeks ago. I rarely post her professional pictures because we don’t have a scanner, but it’s on our "To Do" list – I promise! Until then, I just had to post pictures of the pictures for my family to see!
Never a Dull Moment!

My favorite part about this outfit is the mittens and gloves. She came and asked for help with the skirt and sash, but she picked everything out! If I could give any advice to new parents it would be to put dress up clothes and accessories (glasses, hats) in a reachable place in your child’s closet. We did it on an accident and I’m so glad it worked out that way because it is so much fun to see what she’ll come up with next!
Noelle was putting on my gloves and I told her I was going to take her picture. She immediately put her hands by her side and looked very stoic. I guess she thought that’s what I wanted her to do. She’s such a goof ball!
Babies had a rough weekend!
February 11th, 2008
Saturday morning I hear Noelle saying "Time-out" over and over again in our bathroom. I went to see what was going on and this is what I found.
In this first picture she is saying "Time-out." She says it really sweetly, but very matter-of-factly! It’s funny she picked this spot for their time-outs because this is not Noelle’s designated spot for her time-outs.
She made the baby tell her she was sorry (by saying sorry over and over again) and then kissed every single baby. Noelle hasn’t been in time-out for a couple of weeks now… she’s just got it stuck in her head.
No one’s exempt… even froggy had a time-out. Mike and I kept trying to explain to Noelle that the babies haven’t done anything wrong, but it’s just a game at this point.
She moved all her babies to the toilet and started saying, "Poo poo!" Maybe she could take some lessons from her babies!
Pooh bear joined in the fun and then our creative superstar made an obstacle course out of her potty gear.
"I’m a pretty funny little girl!" This is the ‘what do you think of all of this’ face I get throughout the day, and I love it!
Sweet Devon!

We hang out with Devon all the time, but I never seem to have my camera. Last night I cooked and we watched American Idol and sat around the kitchen table reminiscing on her and Mike’s high school days. We had such a great time – definitely a mid-week treat.
Devon has given Noelle a good majority of her toys, including a wonderful clock block set for Christmas. Today she brought Noelle a newborn baby doll, complete with a birth certificate and all. Devon, you are too good to us, and Noelle thinks you are the best!
Time Well Spent!

Yesterday was heavenly compared to Monday! Noelle is going to take gym this summer, so I decided to try out one of her leotards for her nap, and it was a huge success!
After flirting with me in her crib, Noelle took baby for one wild ride!
I asked Noelle to read her baby a book, and to my surprise, she got the baby and the book, and sat in her special hide-out spot in her closet to read her a story. I wish I had gotten it on video – she was chit chatting away.
Next Noelle really got into putting on her "blus" while dancing around in her leotard. She was being so cute, I couldn’t stop taking pictures!
Rockin’ and rollin’ on the piano and giving her knee a little "blus!"
We had a blast this afternoon goofing off – sure beat cleaning! Thanks Amanda!
You won’t believe what I did!

Yesterday Noelle took off her clothes during her nap, as well as her diaper. She went poo poo and decided to throw it on the floor. I was mortified! Mike came home and found us in the tub getting everything under control.
The only thing out of Noelle’s mouth to her Daddy was "I poo poo!" "I toot!" What do ya do?
*You guys know me – Noelle’s room has been completely sanitized, and it took forever!
Valentine Play Date!

Noelle and Bailey are sweet little friends of the heart!
Noelle’s normally super social, but she spent a good deal of time organizing the Christians fridge pics – she loved all of their pictures!
Always the artist.
Cookie anyone? Noelle had more cookies today than she has in all her life! Every time I turned around she had a cookie in her hand. Unbelievable – they were delicious so I don’t really blame her!
Making a new friends!
We tried to get all of the kiddos on the couch for a pic, but they were super busy. There were kids running around everywhere, and we loved it!
Thanks for having us Amanda and Bailey! We loved playing with you guys and meeting a lot of new friends!
