Last night we let Noelle cuddle in bed with us.  As the three of us were all talking in the dark, Mike was saying to Noelle, "Did you know you used to live in Mommy’s tummy?"  She responded in a high pitched sing-song voice, "I told you!" We all just laughed and laughed.

We’re working with Noelle on saying, "My name is Noelle."  We’ve got the my, is, and Noelle down, but anytime we try to get her to say name, she quickly says "NOELLE!"  She will say "My is Noelle" – that’s a start!

Jonathan was a good sport to hang out with all the girlie girls… usually it’s Noelle with all the guys, so this was a treat for her!

Sunday was so pretty, so we went for a spontaneous ride on the tricycle before nap time.  I can’t believe our baby is learning to ride a tricycle!

Our friends Sushant, Hiral, Sanjeev, Kulpreet and their daughter Ananya took us to try some amazing Indian food!

The appetizers – my favorite was the fried potato on the left – It was so delicious.  Of course, my very favorite Indian dish is the dal you see spread over the white rice.  Hiral always makes this for me, and it is delicious!

The main course – all you can eat buffet!  I got another plate after this as well as dessert.  I stopped taking pictures because I was so full.  My favorite dish in this picture is the orange chicken (top right) as well as the goat in a dark curry sauce (right below the yellow fish in the middle).

Ananya is such a big girl and brought all her fancy toys for Noelle to play with.  We are going to have to get together more often – Noelle thought Ananya was so great!  She was telling us about how she went to the zoo and as she was describing her favorite animals she would interject, "Ya know?"  She is adorable!  Oh one other cute thing, she won a kaleidoscope at school and brought it home and told her parents to look at the pretty princesses in the kaleidoscope.  She is so cute and smart… okay, I could go on and on about that little girl!

This has been one of my silliest fears – to have your entire home invaded with static electricity.  We have researched all about how to get rid of it, but at the end of the day, it’s been kind of fun!

If you rub your feet on our carpet, you will shock the next thing you touch, 100% for sure.  Mini-lighting bolts have been shimmering in our house all week.  The tips we have gotten are to put Bounce in every dryer load, run the humidifier (dry air intensifies static), and Static Guard spray. 

Side note: Noelle has a big bruise on her forehead (kind of hard to miss) and a scratch on her nose right now.  She has been playing hard and is super tough. 

One more funny thing: She gave her baby doll a time-out today.  I heard her say, "Oh no, Oh no," "time-out!" After a while, I told her to go get her baby out of time-out (she put her in the corner).  She walked up to her baby and said, "Sorry" and gave her a hug and a kiss.  It was really cute.  She must have had it fresh on her mind because yesterday I asked her to clean up her colors.  When she said no and started throwing them across the room, she got what we call an automatic time-out.  Noelle, you say?  Yes, we are definitely setting boundaries with our pretty princess.  After her time-out, she came back and put every color back in the cup.  She’s a quick learner, and we don’t have to do time-outs often. 

We’re gonna have a good time tonight!
