First skinned knee!

Sometimes you lose your brain as a Mom, right?  I couldn’t tell on myself until now because it wasn’t funny last week; now I am at least grinning as I write this.  Okay, last week Noelle and I were getting home from shopping, and we were so happy.  I put down the garage door and decided to drop my purse and bags inside and come right back to get Noelle.

I thought she would be bored for the second I was gone (silly, I know), so I gave her my car keys to play with (as she was laughing and saying “keys”).  I dropped the bags off in the kitchen, came back to get her, and heard CLICK… you guessed it, she locked herself in the car.  I ran inside and called Mike to come home immediately, that I had locked Noelle in the car!  It wasn’t too hot that day and he was home in less than 2 minutes and saved the day.  Thank God Daddy works down the street! 

I’m trying to be the best Mommy in the world, but here’s just one story to say that I’m not perfect!

Papa and Rara had a great trip to Montana!  They hiked every day and went to lots of beautiful national parks… it was fun hearing of their mountain adventures!  I want to post some of the pics from their trip soon, after all, “Dad, you did such a great job sending them to us!”
