All week long Elley has been bringing me her pink boots saying, “Boo, boo” for me to put them on her.  She loves walking around in her boots!

Calling America’s Worst American Idol (cue music)… introducing Wang, Barnaby, Barnaby Jr., and Sunshine – Supa Supa (Mike) was also in the line-up.  We recorded our big try-out – you would have to hear it to believe how awful it really was! 

Decorating Halloween, Christmas, Valentine, and 4th of July cookies – we are a little silly around here and we love it!

Haha… in the first picture if you can read lips, Noelle is on the “w” in “bow.”  Noelle has found the bottom step of the stairs to be her special little place.  It is so cute – she always goes to eat her snacks on her step.  Barnaby thought Jr. needed some extra bow power!

Mike and I were talking about our favorite memories over the past 16 months, and playing in the hallway is definitely up there!  Noelle loves to go back and forth between our rooms and play hide and seek with Mommy on one side and Daddy on the other.  I can’t tell you how much fun the hallway is!  Noelle loves to try her princess sash on – she is free to go get anything in her closet to play with and she always pulls out fun and girly things!

For the past week or so Noelle has been saying “Oh boy!” all the time.  Mike and I were in her room one night and she grabbed this book and said, “Oh boy!”  We had no clue where she got the expression from because we have never said Oh boy to her, but it hadn’t dawned on us yet that we read it to her every day!  I was reading this book to her  last night and I read, “Oh boy, what a mess!” and it hit me, this is where she learned how to say Oh boy… she’s been listening to us read to her and is able to call this book, “Oh boy” without us even realizing it until a week later.  We’re so happy!  Books are getting FUN!

We don’t want to make a big deal out of this at all, but we wanted everyone to first of all know we are okay and second, what’s been going on with us.  Noelle got bit on the cheek by a little boy at a birthday party we attended yesterday.  It was very traumatic but Noelle is doing much better.  She slept with us last night and has slept most of today, and we are giving her lots of hugs and kisses.  Thanks for your phone calls and emails.  More pictures of our fun weekend to come…

Last night at Shawn and Ashley’s – we love you Noelle!!!

Mama Kay and Grand Papa have graciously babysat and loved on Noelle all summer long!  It has been such a sweet summer, and we have appreciated all of the extra help!  Thank you so much!!!

Well, I bought this suit on clearance at Nordstrom for next summer, tried it on Noelle to make sure it was super big, but to my surprise it fits perfectly right now!
