Tomato Basil and Pictionary!
July 20th, 2007
We had our good friends Sushant and Hiral, Kulpreet (Gugu), Sanjeev, and Ananya over for supper and games last night. We played pictionary after lots of great food (Mike and I make a great team in the kitchen)… we laughed so hard and had a great time! Noelle said “Yay” and clapped every time we guessed the picture! Ananya learned about “safety violations” in school – she’s four years old and so smart! Anyway, tonight was great!
Busy Week!
July 19th, 2007
Princess Noelle went with Zane, Ali, and mommy on Tuesday to see Clifford’s Really Big Movie and to Burger King afterward. Noelle has been trying on her crown all week – it’s really funny, she wears it around the house all the time. In the picture on the right she is eating a big grape – our girl LOVES to eat (all the time)!!!
*Note – Noelle has her first bruise on the right side of her head above her eye, you can’t really miss it. There’s no big story, just tripped up and fell on a little desk in the guest bedroom. She’s a tough girl and hardly ever cries when she falls, but this one brought on a couple of tears.
Next Tuesday, we are going to see Happy Feet as a part of the Family Fun Film Festival. If anyone would like to go, shoot me an email. We would love to have you come with us!
Rodeo Roundup!
July 16th, 2007
The Randy Rogers Band played at the J’ville rodeo this weekend, so John, Coach Jones, and Curtis made a weekend out of it and invited Mike and me to share their box!
John took a pic of Mike and me – it’s been a while!
There’s something beautifully patriotic about a small town rodeo… definitely brought back lots of memories with good old friends.
You’ve got to be crazy to be a rodeo clown!
And even crazier to ride a bull…
We had a great weekend in the country. Noelle stayed with her Momma Kay and Grand Papa and had a wonderful time! The concert was a blast, and we danced the night away.
Lots of cousin lovin’

Drew and Michele came through Dallas yesterday, and Noelle could not stop loving on Drew. She even said Drew a few times.
She kept patting his head and saying, “Gentle” as a reminder to herself. Sometimes she would point and say “baby.”
Cuddles and more pats…
Noelle and Drew are going to be great friends. I loved seeing Noelle interact with a younger baby. She was so gentle and kind – we treasure her sweet little spirit.
Watermelon!

Our sweet baby girl!
Mmmm… big bite!
You are so happy all the time, and we love you so much!
Pose for Daddy
Bliss…
Can I really have more?
Where’s your eye? Noelle has been showing us where her eyes are this week – and when we say, “How does a cow go?” she’ll get this adorable grin and say, “Mooooo!” She’s so smart!
Precious…
Still going and the sun has almost set!
Ya want some?
Dinner at Jon and Heather’s on the 4th!
July 6th, 2007
Many moons ago (October 2005 archives) we announced we were having a baby at Chuck E. Cheese. John won this bib for Noelle that night with his massive amounts of tokens – thanks for the memories!
Noelle tilting her head toward Heather – she did that all night long – it was so sweet – thanks for the great steaks Fearing family (Don and Molly joined us too!)
July 4th!
July 6th, 2007
We had so much fun on Wednesday!!! Noelle went to her first movie at the movie theater. We saw Charlotte’s Web. She intently watched half of it and slept through the second half. Noelle is normally a wiggle worm and not much of a cuddler, so I was in heaven to hold her while she was sleeping. The chairs even rocked! The movie was so special, and today couldn’t have been better. Mike’s family shared the day with us and after the show we went to the Cheesecake Factory in Southlake for lonchy lonchy. (haha Mikey!)
Noelle taking in the prettiest cow she’s ever seen!
She couldn’t stop feeling the textures…
Daddy and Noelle walking to the fountain – hand in hand!
Tippy toes – let me see what’s going on here
Mike and Noelle with the Ponds and Grandma
Noelle threw her first penny in the fountain
Let go now my dear
Keep going…
Happy July 4th!
