Drew is smiling all the time these days – we love and miss him so much!!!
As of today, all three of us have had the rotavirus. Mike stayed home from work yesterday and his parents saved our lives last night. They came and picked up Noelle after school, and we slept until they got back. It was so good! Noelle is doing great, but Mike and I are really weak…
Today is a new day, and I feel like we are finally over the hump!
I thought about names for this entry all day while I was laying in bed sick… like Rosie Round-up, What a Week, Double Trouble… thankfully my mom is here and that makes everything better.
Noelle is doing better. The last time she threw up was last night; today she has been very alert and playful, and her fever broke. She is holding down liquids and a little applesauce. Thank you for your prayers for us.
Our blog is usually so happy, I wanted to post some cute pictures of Noelle reading a book with “RaRa.” She doesn’t have any clothes on because… well, fill in the blanks – haha!
Thanks so much everyone who thought about us on our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday. We did get to go to Olive Garden and celebrate before I got sick, Okay, thanks for caring for us – I’m back to bed!
Thank you all for caring enough about our lives to read our blog and lift us up in your prayers. Noelle is still throwing up today, and we are exhausted but she is retaining some fluids, which was our main concern. It feels so comforting to know that our friends and family are here for us and love us through the small stuff, even though it doesn’t seem quite so small now that we’re parents! We love you!
Hi everyone,
Noelle has a terrible stomach bug and has been throwing up since last night. We are trying to keep her hydrated and comfortable. Please pray for our little girl…
Update: The doctors think it is best for her to go to the hospital. We are leaving for Children’s in Dallas as soon as possible. We are okay, Noelle just needs more hydration than we are able to give her. Tomorrow it would be an emergency, today it is a precaution, but please keep Noelle in your prayers. Thank you so much!
So our pastor called my parents and asked them to teach preschool Sunday school at church. Dad immediately said, “No.” When asked if he’d pray about it, he said, “No.” At least he’s honest! But Mom said she would “pray about it” and conducted an exploratory study for herself by visiting the preschool class this Sunday.
She told me that it was time to pass the offering and one little boy didn’t have any money, so he put his Valentine candy in the offering plate. I said, “Oh, Mom, what a blessing to see that. So are you going to teach?” She then said the next minute the boy looked up at her and said, “Ma’am, the boy next to me just pinched me on the nipple.” Haha! She said she is still undecided at this time!
Noelle, Mo, Meresy, Maggie, and Mollie Grace (almost here!)
Noelle and Maggie were great playmates!
Maggie loves the “bebe” and called Noelle “Moelle”
Maggie is going to be the best big sister in the world!
She even shared her new toys from today with “Moelle!”
