Mike and I have been taking pregnancy tests all summer in hopes that one would be positive. This night was one of those nights, but our expectations were in check because there were no obvious symptoms at this time. We took the test, but out of previous frustration, I threw it away before the allotted time and just assumed it was negative. I told Mike maybe next time and we were both thinking, “Too bad.” Ten minutes later I was walking by the trash can when I noticed the test face up with two lines! I picked it up in disbelief and said, “Mike, get in here!!!” We immediately took another test to confirm that we were pregnant! I was just three weeks along at the time. Like I said, we had been taking tests just for the fun of it… when the news set in, I went to look at our calendar for any date significance, and that is when we discovered it was the night of our 2 1/2 year wedding anniversary! This was so perfect, just perfect!
